Hi mate, did you notice any difference in the resonance level in the sound? I made this modification and I confess that at a certain speed the resonance is quite intense thanks
Lb7 enters the chat😂😂😂😂 had -48 in wi last year didnt plug it in but made sure the tank was full and fuel was treated so didn't gel up and she popped off was very growly but she did it lol
I wouldn't even have attempted any thing without plugging up 1st.... also if you haven't added conditioner to your tank, all your diesel fuel might be gelled up as well!
@@mayhemmike1789 I agree. Luckily the 3.0 uses 0w-20 oil. I was confident in its cold temperature flow ability. But, I got rid of the truck. Doesn’t much matter now hahaha
Hello there, could I use the cranking fragments of your video for my coldstarting compilation? Of course I will put a link to your original video in the description, increasing the original’s popularity too. Thanks a lot for you answer in advance :)
Ok since you disabled comments on the last video the reason why it’s hesitating is most likely due to it being defective most of the h96b models have gear slipping failures new 2767s fixed that problem so I’d go back to Home Depot and get another one that has h96a as its first four numbers
The thing is awesome. Got mine from Home Depot also. Cutting 1 inch branches that had wire fencing behind it and it cut through both at the same time no problem.
Why put your engine through so much stress? Starting at Sub-Zero temperatures is really hard on an engine even if it starts it's really hard on the bearings and especially dull overhead cams. That oil in the pan is like syrup. The block heater doesn't take that much electricity I would just plug in anything below 10 reduces the stress on the engine substantially. Thank you
It was a 2021 I owned since 0miles. Just got rid of it at 28k miles. Fantastic. Only problem i had was the down pipe gasket kept blowing. Stinking up the cab in slow driving. That could be my one-off experience but other than that. Fantastic.
Thanks for this video. I know you now have an aftermarket exhaust, but do you happen to have any additional sound clips of the modded OEM exhaust? How much louder than unmodded would you estimate it was? I am thinking of doing the same mod, as I want it moderately louder than stock but not anywhere near as loud as a full and cat-less exhaust. Any feedback you can provide is much appreciated.
@@arnoldelliott5695 Thanks alot. My ‘22 XSR 900 should be arriving in about 7-10 days and I plan to do this mod. I can afford an aftermarket, its just O find them all too loud for my tastes and the OEM un-modded too quiet. Will try and record a few “before and after” sound clips - both at idle and revving while stopped as well as driving past the microphone in a stationary position around 50 mph and lastly with the mic on the bike while riding around. I’ll put up a separate youTube video on it and credit your vid here also.
How u not gonna lemme comment on ur milwaukee video but ask for my thoughts. My thoughts are you are using a chrome extension and the thinnest walled impact socket you could find for a very high torque removal. If it is model h96a then you’re just dumb.
I wonder what a cat delete would do without trimming the other stuff… and then i wonder about trimming the length of the outlet pipes to just before it goes inside that path
@@yayoi1 well, i sourced another gen3 exhaust and recently removed the cat only and welded back together. Awaiting nicer weather to install and get some before and afters
Hi again Arnold Eliot,I know I’ve asked you before but winter is upon us(canada) I read you put a miiv exaust. You liked the OEM mod ? I would like to put the Akrapovic under exaust like the older generation 2000$ Canadian but they don’t make it for the 2021 and up model. So option 2 OEM mod maybe. Thank you for your time.
The mod is definitely worth it. I really does make a big difference. Now that i have the Mivv, i really enjoy that exhaust too. I bought it from motostorm in italy and came in less than a week.
I've just put the Mivv on mine and get a buzzing in my helmet at low revs. Do you have anything like this? Love the look of the Mivv though@@arnoldelliott5695
