I've owned this game for several years, but after watching Alien: Romulus, I decided to finally try it on Hard. . . and I kept failing on mission 5. With your incredible guide, I finally got to the end. Thank you so much for being a friendly (and brave) help during this harrowing journey.
This is not possible to complete in 7.30 I have tried over 70 times and its not possible at all the gunfights take far to long you must have cheated to get this done in the required time because its not possible to do it.
I did this on first time after completing the whole game and collecting the last trophies for platinum. My time was 7:04. Just try to be as quick as possible.
This fight sucks because of the jank and horrible hit boxes. All I ever play is souls games and have done everything from demon souls to Elden ring hitless level 1. Those vines get you when you think you're outside of the hitbox. The dodge doesn't have s either which sucks. Thanks for the guide though it helps!
DONT LISTEN TO THIS GUY, ON THE HELICOPTER PART BEFORE YOU OPEN THE DOOR NEED TO SHOOT THE CHOPPER WITH THE RPG FIRST. OTHERWISE ITLL KEEP KILLING YOU WHEN YOU TRY OPENING THE DOOR
it is SO incredibly helpful to have someone actually Explain how to do the level! all the other "walkthroughs" are just gameplay with nobody explaining how to do it. being able to remember your Voice explaining the order was so much easier than having to copy a video. thank u SO much
"the game bends me over" 😂😂😂 same feeling. After beating this on nightmare (told me I got the brass knuckles but the game lied) I'm doing Akumu mode. Using alot of your strategies, but I found that you don't have to shoot the pistol to burn her in the oil. The fire spark will do the trick. And before with the mannequin, there's 2 trap parts inside the locker! Those came in handy to handle the dog. My strategy with him was to prep a shock bolt then shoot at him, immediately locating a position without bear traps then shooting a freeze bolt. Then harpoon and explosives until the @sshole is down. Took me many times but I knew that was the play. He can't move at all whilst frozen, it's your chance to blast at him. Thank you for this gem, Nik! Without these fun let's plantinum it would've been hell to manage Akumu.

at 14:30 I just walk without sprinting to the other side, dont even take cover, and they dont even try to shoot at me, the alien does its animation, they shoot at the alien, and no one even trys to attack me, juts walking to the door. And it works with 100% success. I do it every time, on both nightmare and normal
Love your videos btw. But on crushing, not brutal, I found the game play wasn’t the same - I wasn’t being thrown the grenades you were in the fight with the two shield guys. I found I was punished this way, and instead rewarded with playing forward. Grabbing the shield is an absolute though. And you helped me through the blue men chapter undoubtedly in the last game. The retardedly shaky aiming takes almost all the fun out of the entire fucking game. The PlayStation 3 version of the game is amazing. And I wish I still had it, but I'm stuck with this dog shit PlayStation 2 version which isn't worth even playing.
You're obviously playing a different version than I am because my Leon has the DDTs and couldn't hit the broadside of a barn if his life depended on it. I asked for the PlayStation 2 version walk through which you are apparently not playing.

Just wanted you to know first time in my life i kept watching the video and after that i just started to watch your walkthrough series from start to finish. Thank you! I went from 7:38 in a failed continuous speed run (3 hours 42 ) to 5:57 in practice. I wish I could put that time into a continuous run! I got used to spraying unlimited bullets for one hit kills on crushing so I'm way too slow on the fights now I have to aim and make sure they're dead
