Whoa. That's my exact car, a 2024 Boost Blue Pearl Type R. Thing is, mine came with the red mats stored in the hatch, still wrapped in plastic. I've always used the higher-coverage OEM black Type R mats, so I've never seen my car with the Full-On Red Experience in the interior. Looking at yours, I like it a lot, but I know those red mats will get ruined very quickly with daily use, so I've kept mine in their plastic coverings. Up in the mountains were you live, those red mats will get soiled even sooner. One tip for your car, about which most FL5 owners who've tried it will agree, is to swap out the stock ADS suspension damping module for the Integra Type S module. It's only $214, it's a straight swap, it's easily reversible, and you will immediately notice a marked improvement in the ride quality of all three suspension modes. Moreoever, you'll even be able to use +R mode here and there, whereas right now, with your CTR module, you'll never be able to use +R on the street. It's simply way too stiff and bouncy. Enjoy your beautiful new bright blue weapon.
NOPE!! I am on my 3rd Mazda lease, I have a 23 CX9 GT atm and I love it, but not the price, I can't wait to turn it in and get a used vehicle, I'm done with these prices, I can't justify a 60k price tag for this 90
Cross shopped and test drove ALL midsize trucks, including Ridgeline early 2024, and test drove full size ford, Chevrolet and GMC trucks. I opted for this truck mainly because I did not need a full size (kids grown) and I did not need to tow much. I opted for a nismo lift just to help a bit and not void the warranty. I got all the packages, about $3500 off msrp and a good interest rate. Resale not a concern here cuz this is a keeper.
Yes it does but considering you can get a profile X for 45k maybe even less with discounts you're saving at least $10,000 over at Tacoma Ranger or Colorado you can easily take 3 to 5 grand and have a better off-roading suspension than any of the other ones
@06XTOR bro....New trd pro tacoma with Mark up is like 75K by me. Another place 81k!! That's nuts. For a 4cyl turbo too!! Frontier is a great truck and price. Also ford ranger raptor.
Nissan offers the NISMO 1.5 inch lift kit, 265.00 and a few hours of time to install. It is a good kit for a Frontier and can fit 285 70 17 tires, IMO 275 70 17 look best.
RAM quality SUCKS. A hand selected truck driven by a Stellantis hack. I watched a video where the test drive said, "The cruise control doesn't work." Can you imagine buying a $70,000 truck and the cruise control doesn't work? Also Hurricane engines are blowing head gaskets.
Just to be clear, the trd off road starts at $42K… the one you’re driving is definitely in the $55K range. Got all the bells and whistles on her 😂. Mine has the MT, so my crawl control is 4LO in 1st gear. Unfortunately, I also have to use the brake and gas pedals while I’m driving, but nothing beats doing it yourself! Nice review👍
Hopefully at job 2 when Ford makes the 2.7 available, they see fit to offer the 4A transfer case, rear seat vents and ventilated front seats, at least on the Lariat! GM has had 4A since 2015 on Canyon and 2017 on Colorado.
Who would want a truck that has way fewer parts than the previous year regardless on how to they spin it it’s still to make it cheaper to make for them and more expensive to buy for you
I've never liked the basic body of these especially that dip on the side of the door frame for the side mirror. I had an F-150 in the past and wasn't impressed. I've had a Chevy, Ford, and a Ram pickup truck over the yrs and have no loyalty to any brand. I currently have a Ram 1500 now I bought new in 2018. I can honestly say it's the only pickup truck that I've felt attached to and puts a smile on my face. I love starting it up and hearing that Hemi come to life. It's great to drive. Smooth but still handles like a truck. To each there own though.
Oh Tom, try as you may, you’re a Ram fanboy! It’s okay, you don’t have to try so hard to explain yourself or make excuses. Ram’s an okay truck, no worries. 👍
Lost me when you said turbo. Just a fact they don't have the longevity of regular injected engines and you'd be lucky to get to 80k miles before you start having issues . Ashame because everything else is nice . I'll have to take a pass . Thanks for the review though.
I have an SC. The small bed hauls a lot less air than most “real” trucks. Load leveling rear shocks and 5,000lb towing capacity makes it wimpy I guess. Almost 300HP is for girls, right. Maybe if it came with a penis pump I could graduate to a real truck someday? 😂
Unibody trucks make the most sense for the majority of truck buyers. Ridgeline, Maverick, Santa Cruz, Cybertruck, and rumor has it Subaru is reintroducing the Baja. If you’re gonna off-road any of them then install proper tires. The stock street tires are mediocre at best for off roading. So really these tests are moot.
TRD is for offroad thats why is missing some things. I got 1794 that has all options with steps, tail gate step, air level and much more. 19-20mpg mix driving and all i can say is going from a v8 13mpg to 19mpg is a win for me. A TRD will get 15 mpg because its made for offroad and its not setup for regular driving. Enjoy your Ford💪💪
