I like her skirt! The flowers coming off the wall looks so neat. At first when you cut the hole and were inking it looked like the top of a tissue box. I like cutesy Halloween. Can’t get too scary because I have little grands (8,6) who think they like scary til it gets dark then they won’t go anywhere in the house alone - let alone if there are Halloween decorations about! Silly kids! I’m going to do some pink ghosts and pink polka dot pumpkins in my craft room - 😊
I can’t remember if I asked before but what are you printing those tags on? The print is so crisp and clear and bright… mine didn’t turn out like that and I’m sure it was my paper. Your laminated pieces are so pretty! Bel is great isn’t she!! This is a great project!
I applied my homemade mod podge over the printed digital and let it dry completely. To get the bright colors try selecting paper type Matte Presentation paper. Also if your budget allows for an upgraded paper like Matte Photo paper.
You’ve got a great selection of photos. I like the background but decorative scissors are so hard to use. I have tons but only use 4, 2 are scallops different sizes, pinking type, and the one that looks like postage. Love your page
I really like that you use your stash and show different ways of using things like the magazine strips… I never think to use magazines, or use large envelopes to cut down to smaller to make pockets.
Hi! I’ve been away for a few days, so I need to catch up. I saw you started a new series. Can’t wait to start watching that. This journal is cute, I haven’t seen a binding like that. I’ll have to give it a try. I like the idea of the bulb pin hanging off the binding.0
Such fun photos and as she looks through it will spark some maybe forgotten memories. I love reminiscing with my mom and her sisters of when they were young…so special!!
The cover turned out so pretty!! I love it. I’ll need to check out Barbara’s digital’s. I did get a set to make a planner. But haven’t printed it yet. I’m hoping to get it ready for January and use in 2025. Where did you get your mushroom stickers? I really like those.
I’ve never worked with magazines just because of the shine, not thinking I could use gesso to mute it. I usually get my mod podge at Walmart just because I can get the large bottles for a little less than the small ones at the dollar tree. I really like these strips and it makes a fabulous master board. Such interesting detail. The weaving was neat too but could be bulkier and depending what it was for I wouldn’t want the bulk. I like the idea of tags on this one because the design reminds me of tags or pockets even. I also like the idea of maybe similar master boards and use one as a cover and the other for coordinating embellishments.
