Welcome to the channel! Here you're going to find a little bit of everything. Mostly you will see iRacing live streams, race records, and crash compilations. I will also be putting up some of my off-road racing helmet cam footage and we will probably throw in some real world car and truck stuff as well. Please dont forget to support the channel and hit the subscribe button to stay up to date with anything Stevens Motorsports related
That was my goal cause I feel like most guys aren’t sure how to drive the car lap after lap in lower splits and I was hoping these would be helpful across any split and maybe bring more people in to the series
Glad I found your channel. I have very similar setup. Opted for simsonn pro pedals over the srp. Es wheel as well, need to get a bigger wheel though cuz the 11 in is too small. Have you upgraded to the 3.0 algorithm ffb? It’s still in beta but lot of people are really enjoying it judging from the moza discord. I haven’t yet, figure I’ll just wait till official release.
I prefer to wait on upgrades like that. I’m a network engineer by trade and have been screwed way too many times by beta firmware lol I have been reading about it and debated trying it but will probably wait. I went SRP pedals right away as I had a Logitech setup at first and NEEDED pedals that were better. I will probably eventually go with the crp2 pedals. I feel what you’re saying about the 11 inch wheel. Like I said on stream last night I went with the 12” mod but might order a 13” mod
@@stevens_motorsports exactly my thoughts on beta firmware. My stuff works great right now, I’ll wait until that new firmware is “nice and polished” I’m seriously debating that simpush 13 in on eBay. Just a tad apprehensive with it looking to be a 3d print. Have worries of the wheel flexing. If I get it I’ll let you know how it is.
Let’s go! I’m focusing on the 87 this season. I’m about to watch your 87 comparison video that you mention. I’ve always wondered if there was differences. Hopefully the ford ain’t the best lol. I refuse
Yea I only have the Pontiac at the moment. It’s prolly my fav car to drive though. Was hoping to make the 730 window tonight but got caught up. I’ll get a race in tomorrow. Maybe see ya on track
To the VR users, for me it caused me to crash when loading the sim around the 15% mark of the loading bar. After uninstalling reshade, I would get into the sim, then immediately crash. My current solution is to reinstall. I'm using a 2080ti and quest 3, I did check if my hardware was being bottlenecked, but my vram still had a gigabyte leftover and nothing was over 85% usage during loading.
For me part of the problem following you is I can't see your cursor so I don't know what you're opening sometimes, like in the spec map part, you say "we're gonna go ahead and turn on our spec map" yet I don't see where you did this, it just magically happened! I hope you understand what I mean... I've never done spec map stuff so a bit more precise details would help, that or edit some circles into the video to show where you clicked... I appreciate your time doing this though!
As someone who has ran all 4 cars at Daytona/Talladega, I agree that there are VAST differences in each car. I think the only time I ever ran the Buick at a superspeedway, I ended up finishing mid pack because I just couldn't drive through the field. I'd make a few positions and then just kinda stall out. Pontiac is definitely my choice for superspeedway races for the foreseeable future as I have had my best runs in it recently... just don't look at my results... crashes are a b*tch lol
The only difference between the cars are the looks. There are no aero or performance differences. Everything you see or feel is just a placebo. If you feel faster in the Buick, drive the Buick. If you feel faster in the Pontiac then drive that. But the performance will be the same
I can put this to bed because I did a lot of the dev on these: We do one car and then copy/paste everything to the others. They're exactly the same, this is how all multi-car stock car classes are done.
Yea hard habit to break when you don’t have a script. There’s more than a few guys I know that drive it. It was interesting to me to feel the differences but I’m planning on another couple test to expand on this video
Maybe you and JD (which will make him happy) have changed the minds of people towards the Buick! I definitely think you should do a video with the moderate tracks like Charlotte and then 1 on the shorter tracks.
Whoa whoa whoa let’s not get hasty on grandmas grocery getter! I was suprised by the way it drove for sure! I do think an intermediate, short track and road course video may be needed for this
I've just recently got into watching Iracing I hope one day I can do it all of you are a inspiration to me and yall are all amazing keep up the amazing work...ps... I'm so freaking late lol I'm terrible
@@stevens_motorsports Definitely will try to catch one I love watching all of you guys y'all are amazing I actually found you and icw thru watching JD and I have to say it's the Best decision I ever made love all you guys..!!
@@Ghostedrift we appreciate it! I met both those guys over a year ago and we’ve had a lot of goofy fun together. I went to the Daytona 500 with icw and hung out with JD and his family for a weekend a few months ago
@shanewardesspeedwayvideosr8449 oh he thought it was funny cause I was broadcasting the race and I have seen those cars in my mirror way too many times lmao
