Excellent performance and excellent instruments. These vintage instruments are excellent including the drum machine sounds. I’ve a few keyboards, I play and sing as well as multi track record as a pure hobby. Please check me out here on RU-vid. Thanks. Oh what tune is that you are playing? It sounds great,
He he he...From 3:00 minutes on, the voice of Dr. Zamenhof has no background music. There you can listen to the whole speech. Sometimes it works better to watch the whole video before commenting...

Just one question, or more . . . If you are recording a 'Virtual' instrument (as in not a physical instrument), what are you actually 'playing' on (it has to register input from somewhere). Your playing on the PCs keyboard? Also how do you change the Input to Midi? Only options I can find is Audio In 1 & Audio In 2 (as in, Wave format input). I managed to pull up a 'keyboard' from a plug-in, and get the DAW to start recording, except it still records the Track in 'Wave' format, and regardless of how many keys on the 'Keyboard' I play during the recording, the track is empty, as in records nothing of what I've played :(
Sorry for the late reply. I'm afraid I've made this video sevral years ago. I forgot lots of things about Zynwave Podium. In the setup menu you should find a "MIDI/Audio interfaces" submenu, and there you can enable your midi input. Once you did that, I guess that you'll be able to select that source as input, but as I told you I made this long, long ago, so I do not remember well. Currently I am using Waveform 11 and Cakewalk by bandlab. Both of them are free and great options. If you have a chance take a look at them. I hope that this helps.
Most definitely helps . . . thanks for taking the time. I do appreciate your reply though it, as you said, is quite a while since you made this video. Also, in the meantime I have looked up alternatives to Podium and came to the conclusion myself, that Cakewalk is indeed better and more precise, not least in regards to their Midi editor - whether or not I actually have a Midi keyboard or controller. Have so far managed to 'plot' the intro to Beethovens Moonlight Sonata into Cakewalk, using only a Score Sheet I picked up and my PC mouse (as an exercise in getting to know CW, I'm trying to make 'pop' version of the Sonata). There'll be some obvious limitations until I get myself a Midi Keyboard, wont be long before I get myself one of those though.
Thanks for sharing this music that you created. Scale Workshop is currently a very simple tool but I hope it will be useful. It looks like you got started with it very quickly, I'm astonished!
