First AC game since I was a dumb kid and tried the 4th games demo. Got this day one and didn’t beat balteus until the patch. I work a lot so i didn’t get to try for hours and days on end like most. But I was always one swing away or one missile worth one damage. But this was a fantastic experience I got to try for the first time and now I’m hooked.
Haha giant robot go brrr..with kickass music. I have told my family I want to offer my brain to be plugged into robots for great science upon body death. Obviously I wanna be in big robot.
I must be playing this game backwards I beat him on only my fourth try. literally my friend said as i beat him, it took him two days to finish the boss
remember, giant robots are to coolest fucking thing ever made. from soft makes the best games in modern day, so we all know how well that turned out. masterpiece.
To anyone that made a build specifically for balteus- i just have to say to you- that shaped your gameplay for the rest of the run I was one of the ignorants who ran into balteus with a buckler on my left shoulder thinking i was just gonna parry his flame sword and play dark souls- absolutely not But i did win the fight eventually, and that stubborn dog went on to run a dual melee build, with a long desgle, and some shitty shoulder missiles for the rest of the game, and for every boss No regrets-- best feeling i ever had was staying true to my mech's identity and learning how to adapt with it despite overwhelming odds
I like how this theme feels like a shared theme between Raven and Ayre. I notice that all of the Raven's themes have strong baselines. Panther for gen 4's Raven, Scorcher in 4A, and Dirty Worker for gen 5's mercenary. I think this theme in particular expresses Raven's determination around loop 2.
This song has so many layers for me. This song sounds like someone coming alive for the first time. Before this moment, before Ayre, before the fight, 621 was just that. A number. Nameless, no autonomy, no existence, nothing outside of job after job after job. A tool. Then... Her. Ayre gives you a name. She makes 621 real. In that moment, for the first time ever, Raven is actually alive. The way the track seems to wash over you and perpetually swell, it's like you can feel Ayre flooding into Raven, her memories and experiences brushing against Raven's. I love this track. I love this game. I love this so much. AAAAAAAAAAAAAGH.
Indeed, this is Ayre and 621 theme, not Balteus. You can also hear it at the start of "eliminate Cinder Carla", becuase you show your resolve to protect Rubicon, the Coral, to protect Ayre and your shared dream.
As someone who's been in love with Armored Core for more than two decades, I cannot express what this song and this game meant to me emotionally. The tired, aging merc in 621 felt like a glove made for me, and here I was pushing every one of my limits against a real genuine wall like Balteus, fully worthy of that title. It feels so good to be back, Ravens.
@@adriangerardoibarramenchac4610 same for me too. At times I felt like its better than Elden Ring just because it had story and characters which I was able to understand without the help of item description and vaati vidya which enhanced my experience 10 fold.
Playing armored core as someone who had only played games from the soulsborn era it finally makes fromsofts game design click for me. after doing everything in AC6 I went and starting going through the backlog of Armored Core starting with nexus
@awhellnah__ It's up to you if you think of it as a simp theme. It basically plays during pivotal battles in Contact time with Ayre. First is here. Then in the first boss battle of the Liberator of Rubicon route.
Proof that you got better. I remember getting bodied several times by both this thing and Sulla on my first run but by my second playthrough I essentially throttled through the entire mission killing both Sulla and BALTEUS with significantly less effort
Balteus did get a bit nerfed. But I think the true difficulty of it all was dealing with him with ch.1 weapons. That said, bastard gave me a hard time even when he got nerfed, I think it took me around 15 tries to defeat him, strangely enough I didn't feel frustrated, it was actually quite thrilling to face him with the different parts I had on hand at the time and finding what worked best for me... Then again I recall not touching the arena yet, so I may have made things harder for myself for ignoring that until mid-chapter 2
Oh my days you are my saviour, for years I had been hoping someone would extend this theme! I remember someone did it like a decade ago and the vid got taken down. Thank you so much!
Ah Balteus, the wall of chapter 1. Got stuck on this guy for a while and had to completely overhaul my AC to finally beat him. Its funny, now I can beat him before his phase 2 really gets going.
@@cyberjolteon1220 worst part about fromsoft games for me is I’ll never suck as much as I did the first time, but I wanna go back and experience armoured core 6 all over again😭, I’m gonna go back and play every other ac game I’m just in love with this series now.
@@Handle.NoimDoorKnob as an AC vet here is a heads up... AC-6 is the easiest in the series, by far my recommendation is the try the AC-3 series the final entry of which "Last Raven" is the hardest in the series
@@mihalekhale2590 AC3 and Silent Line Armored Core are definitely harder than AC6. I haven't played Last Raven yet but from what I've seen that one looks like the most brutal.
Balteus is by far the best boss fight ever, nothing could compare going in with some shit weapons, music pumping, Ayre encouraging, all the missiles flying at you, chipping, or dodging completely while circling this emotionless beast fighting without rest. Slowly overpowering it, with each try feeling more compelled to play better to triumph this Metal Vessel.
@@ManiaMac1613 Me: Trivialises bosses with certain loadouts and does them on first try Trash that cant beat bosses and think they are difficult: "SkILl IsSuE" Yes, you have skill issue and think those bosses are hard mechanically, so what? Still those bosses are trash, period.
@@ManiaMac1613 wait... you think that those bosses are... hard??? OMG, you really need to get better at games dude, spends whole life in basement playin them and still suck... feel sorry for you
@@evilman6668 gestures are still usable with a different command. If having to change a setting every time isn't worth the exact thing you asked for then you're gonna be disappointed. This mod does that, nobody is gonna make one that does something this one already does 🤷
I just downloaded the debug menu from Nexus and decompressed it to the game folder, just what the readme file says. But when i execute the game, the game doesnt open. How you did it?
