Honestly, who doesn't love Scott Hamilton? He brought more to skating than any jumps or spins ever have. I loved every performance he did.

It gave me goosebumps and made me feel proud to be an American again - the first time in over 4 years. I'm heartbroken to feel we are throwing away the country we fought so hard create. Can we, as citizens of our Republic, rebuild this amazing country?? I honestly don't know.

What was the name of this guy? Been looking for ages!!!
@lorirommel519

The guy's name is ... Chas Elstner. I had also been searching for this bit for a long time. This isn't the same performance that I was looking for, though. In the one I'm still searching for, he does something different -- and way more hilarious -- when the kettle drums play. But now you know.

@@kristinewithak3616Sabena Flight 548 was a Boeing 707-329[1] flight operated by Sabena that crashed en route from New York City to Brussels, Belgium on 15 February 1961. The flight, which had originated at Idlewild International Airport,[2] crashed on approach to Brussels Airport, killing all 72 people on board and one person on the ground.[3] The fatalities included the entire United States figure skating team, who were traveling to the World Figure Skating Championships in Prague, Czechoslovakia.[4][5] The precise cause of the crash remains unknown; the most likely explanation was thought to be a failure of the mechanism that adjusts the tail stabilizer.[1]

I hope she continues to make another record but if she retires I will respect her besides she is the wife of Robert Verplanck that's why I want to know what was her birth name before she got married

She worked with Sinatra on his 'Trilogy' album; why, oh why didn't he ask her to sing a song on either of his 'Duets' albums? Marlene is different class from the pop vocalists who murdered his songs.
