I'm just a random mom from WI with zero experience in marching band or with Ohio State and I'm watching this with my bluetooth speaker on full volume hyping y'all up like I'm in the stadium. 🤩

Class of 2018. You guys are phenomenal, keep it going! I dropped out of band in the 5th grade. I told myself it would only sting if I went to OSU, turns out, I did, and it did in fact sting. Still, proud of TBDBITL. I'll never have the experience of being in your ranks but will continue to cheer you on since I was in the fifth grade. HALT. KICK. Down. REST ONE TWO THREE!
i was in a marchin band and this video only cure for my longing for the addict to drum sound the crowd cheering and the fun in the field... thanks for this video ..
Hi, I am in Marching Band for my school. I'm the youngest in the band, I'm 12 years old, How is it to work with so many people and do you have any words of encouragement, that would be great!❤ It's also so amazing how in sinc you all are!
Ok so I got a story but for context I am in my first year of hs and marching band. I had always wanted to do drums, but was never allowed because my teachers and directors always said I had too much talent with woodwinds for that. So I thought hey, maybe this is my chance. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it to most of the clinics so after auditions, even though I played everything how they showed me, I was basically told to go back to woodwinds and was given no alternative option despite some of the horrible memories I have around those things. Anyways here’s the story, I guess it’s more of a meme template type thing, but ye. First time playing clarinet: Yeah, it’s ok I guess. It’s not that fun. Band director: Cool. You’re doing this forever now. First time playing bass drum: That may just be my new favorite thing. Band director: I’m about to end your whole career. Of course I’m trying again next year but oooof
Hey, I’m a freshman at osu and I did drumline in my high school and I want to try out for marching band my sophomore year. Do you have any tips or advice on how to to prepare?
3 things: 1. During the summer, we have summer sessions every Tuesday and Thursday night. We also have focus weeks and online sessions for people out of state. These are highly recommended for all people who are trying out because we able to play together and everyone is taught how to march. In addition to these, we also have spring sectionals beforehand to keep our chops up. 2. Go to the drumline website (u.osu.edu/ohiostatedrumline) and start familiarizing yourself with the music on there. All the music is currently what we play during the summer and a short selection is played for tryouts. 3. On the website, there’s a contact page where you can get in touch with the SL on your current instrument (snare, tenor, bass, cymbal). It’s always a good idea to communicate!
@@Lizzardthething [ Timestamp ] 2:24 - 2:26 Man in white shouts “Go-Pro!” Then holding a thumbs up. It might be somewhere on his head or just somewhere on the upper body ( higher than chest ). Edit: I found him on the field. Judging on the height, the GoPro might be on the lower part of the hat.
As a marching sophmore in Michigan, I hate the football team, but as this video is proof of, you and your band are fucking elite, good job to all yall!
