Its not broken . The cap has a magnet you need to use e85 gas pump ONLY

for people who dont know , you can just twist that whole thing and itll come off , then you can just stick the nozzle in the open hole

I had to tow my jeep when I ran out of gas even though I walked to gas station and bought two gallons! It just wouldn’t insert!!! Bought the jeep used and there isn’t a funnel that came with it. Every funnel I try either won’t open the latches or, if it does, it won’t go past the secondary valve

Put the nozzel in it then it will go for sure

It is a safety capless so the only way you can open it is thru the same size of the tube for a gas pistol, either that pg or a tube the same size

When that happens to me I push down on the small notch underneath the insert, it works when I put the pump in
