@@SaulOhio Thank you very much. We went there on Saturday afternoon. Suprisingly there were no other kiters. Perfect conditions for 3hrs hydrofoil session. A bit of the walk to the sandbar (gate was closed). I wasn't sure if we can launch right at the beach to the west of the break wall.
@@crocodile172 You can launch off the beach, but the wind there is gusty. The advantages are not as long of a walk, and deep water right away. You just need to be careful to keep the kite flying.
Out in the area where the video was taken, its pretty deep. I was only using the short mast because my long one is broken. It is shallow at the launch area, for a couple hundred feet out. But you body drag out and you will be good on any size mast.

@@crocodile172 When open, it costs $5 to get in the gate to the sandbar. But there is free parking outside the gate, or on the grass outside the first gate.

Its a tamedog. Frontroll is a front flip going straigth over your toeedge. The there is, Fs rodeo also off toe edge but going frontaide rotation. There is also a 'berserker flip', like between frontroll and Fs rodeo.
I live by edgewater..I got a board and a broken fin , I removed it , andi bought a fin , the parts , a fin box box a router bit . Anyone know how to fix it.
I do kitefoil. I'm already doing too many things to add one more at this time. A friend let me try his kitewing on the ice a few weeks ago. I can see the attraction.
I was there last weekend and the one before. But we have ice here in Ohio now, so not till next season. I hope to someday do a New Years Eve midnight session from Beachfront Hotel. Maybe next year.
My dad snowboarded and skied when we lived in Idaho, I was too young for the 7 years we were there but now I wish I could go back and learn. Stuff was so fun and the mountain we went to was so high and so many places to go. Tubing was fun tho 😂
never too young to learn how to board or ski, I was lucky enough to start skiing at 3 years old, im 18 now so I bomb down every slope like I got 9 lives

@@SaulOhio yup but when you’re scrolling the brain makes quick (often wrong) inferences I’m glad the kids really are alright and not getting caught on lifts. My 10-year old daughter wants to get into snowboarding and videos like these don’t help dissuade her 😉
