Sit yourself down, grab a pint and enjoy a visual feast of trains, planes, automobiles & models at The Railway Tavern!
I've been crossing paths with cameras and trains since I was a young boy as the channel image shows. Some habits apparently don't change! I also like a pint of ale or two these days hence the channel name, some videos often show the post filming pub that was frequented!
Enjoy the videos and be sure to drink responsibly haha - Ian
Spot on Ian a lovely shot, a great long climb at Langho although that tree is creeping further out now blocking the lower end of the climb, lovely sound from the five, cheers 👍
Another lovely video well done great camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on RU-vid bye for now Philip
The diesel behind it probably pollutes more. A steam engine is basically a BBQ grill upscaled heating water. Industrial machinery burning diesel is a heck of a lot worse for the environment than a bit of fire.
Shame there is not as much variety my way on anymore. This is a good selection of locos and your Tesco train is 88010 its been on it a while unless its been swapped recently.
🗣️NEW SUBSCRIBER. I watched your video and admired the content of the CHANNEL. 📸👨❤️👨👍👍. With great joy 😃😃😃 I thank you for spreading the word, sharing relevant ideas and images. 👏👏👏. May GOD always bless your work 🙌☝️♥️.
I say some maroon and a few more blue and grey would go down well too. As would the Mk1s if we can get them back out with an exemption or some discounted Timpson knock offs haha
Always adds a bit more atmosphere I think! Liking the new lamps, appreciate they’re brighter than back in the day but at least they look well aesthetically!
Spot on Ian, a lousy day to say the least and thanks for braving it, I’ve done that shot at Roe Lee before and it was tricky in the dry so you certainly had a challenge on in those conditions and a great result, cheers 👍
Cheers Nige, yea the weather suggested it would be nice but alas this is the British Summer we're talking about haha! We're used to it though, coat and a cap and alls good!
Hi you are a brave man to film off the bridge at Roe Lee in a downpour. An old favourite spot of mine. Next to beat the clock and catch SNG having a drink at bridge 65 Chatburn where I left about 09.25 from a house 5 mins walk away sti in a downpour to film in the only dry spot I could think of at short notice whi h was Hellifield! Well done for your efforts and tha ks for sharing Brian
Morning Brian, hope you're doing well must be 6 months since we saw you last! Yes I recall the incident you once had at Roe Lee, was a bit slippery the other day but alls well. Was torrential up at Chatburn, you did right finding somewhere with a roof! Cheers Ian
@@RailwayTavern problem is our track’s quality. Besides that, they need a double track to run at full speed and this has not been done so a carful timing must be done with slower trains. Anyway, it is great to see them here and I’m planning a trip very soon
Cracker of a day wasn’t it. A couple of pints at selected pubs too and even called in at Helifield for a bit for steam. Same again next weekend would be ideal!
