After rewatching your videos again and paying close attention it sounds like distortion when you get to 80/85% volume on your phone so that’s why you blow these speakers tbh😂 try to run it off a head unit and a really good aftermarket amp to reallly hear these things talk💯😂
punch should beat prime,right? you proberby want to hear them in a car, not right in front of you aimed at your face. they also should be part of a total system not just one speaker.
I’m really looking for a set of speakers that are more tuned for bass or mid bass. I have a set of D4S Hexicone 6.5’s and they are great for higher frequencies but definitely not good when it comes to any bass, so I’m looking to even out the sound between them and my subwoofer. Buy the Alpine s2-s60 they have really really good bass and quality sound or jbl a little more bass with a little less quality sound than alpine but jbl are more fragile
And the winner is....... Alpine. Kicker is a good affordable speaker great for beginners. Alpine is the next level and gives you warm clean bass and the tweeters are incredible the make kicker sound like it's on the radio. But if you going with the KS
Those pioneer remind me of the Orion XTR1.00TW the tweeter sounds amazing but they are to soft and because they sound so full they tend to sound better with a low mid or mid bass bass like those in component set instead of mid range that can play up to 8k yes you can cross over but it wil have to much high mid and not enough low mid or mid bass.
