Traveling and Exploring Parks to find Inner Peace in Nature
Welcome to my channel!
I am based in Michigan around the metro Detroit area. I took a "leap faith" recently to help with finding #innerpeace and focus on more positive things in life. To stay true to my newfound goal of finding inner peace with #nature I will be going on some mini/long trips to local #parks /#nationalparks and sites and I will take you with me as I explore them. I am also #suvcamping / #carcamping on my 2019 Hyundai Tucson no-build camper.
Finding inner peace is being close to nature. There are parks everywhere and most of them are free. Come with me and we will explore them together. It's like #freetherapy

I totally get the fan-boy feeling when you get to Craze. I went to their grand re-opening and could not stop grinning idiotically. Your excitement as you get closer to the meet up is palpable. Excellent video Ray! Looking forward to the next one!
@@VaguelyMeandering Thank You Andrea! Yup it was a challenge for me to act nonchalant about it because I love outdoor stores and Craze was special for me on this trip 😊
you see how it pulls only 30 to 40w? is because you need to connect it to 24v. tan it will pull 60 to 70w and the real colling begins. i notice that in the first day i got it mine
@@TheSt1ngRay that may be for now..., but now you now if needs might come. so live well and prosper my long away friend. beers on us! Glory to Romania!
Ray, you are SO cute. Poutine is pronounced POO-TEEN. If you're still in Canada, and still planning to head West, remember, I'm in Fernie, only 3 ish hours from Calgary...
@@VaguelyMeandering ikr! 😂😅 I have been back in Michigan. One day I am hoping to come visit when I head back up there! I miss the mountains so much already.
@@TheSt1ngRay You are welcome back any time! As long as I'm in Fernie there will be a standing invitation for dinner and a spare room and shower if you need one.
I would really love to hire a car and travel around the US. Love to see the towns along the way and have a few meals in the local diners and chat with the locals etc. Maybe one day I’ll do it.
Yeah, you did get to see our backroads in Manitoba didn’t you Ray?🤣😂 I think I stopped at the same Shell in Brandon - and, yes, it seems like every gas station has its own way of doing things just to confuse us tourists🤦🏼♀️. Take care, Ray🍀🥰
@@TheSt1ngRay Hi Ray, love the music as well, as you cruised through Manitoba and eastern Saskatchewan to arrive at my home town of Moose Jaw. Born and raised and moved to Alberta for work in my late 20's (I've been in Calgary since 1988). The CO-OP gas stations all do full-service but many other stations across the prairies will have both full-serve and self-serve so you have to look if the pump is marked full or self-serve. Not sure on what the setup was for him starting your fill and then you went in to pay, hmm? Glad you travelled from Mich. to the meet-up and so nice to meet you. Enjoy the rest of summer and stay in touch. I will be keeping an eye on your travel adventures and hope to see you out to Alberta/BC in the future. Cheers Ray!!
@@bl4runner Thanks for the tip Brian! I may not have noticed the sign if there was one :). It was so nice to meet you good sir and your 4Runner set up was so cool! Good to know that you were originally from Moose Jaw (I love the name!) that is why I wanted to hunker down for the night there 😎
That is so nice of you say Kevin. Glad my set up has inspired someone who has an awesome Van!! Also thank you for bringing the interwebs at the campground. Stay cool brother! :)
@@angela23 yes it does! I remember not needing it though when I was driving through the mountains last week. I was stopping myself from losing it while driving looking at the gorgeous views.
I know! I was going to drive to jasper BUT it was another 4 hours from Calgary where I was during that time... Well another reason to come back right? :) Safe travels!
Please let me say two things. 1.) Be kind to yourself. You are car camping, so bring a real coffee mug! 2.) Again, be kind to yourself, toss the instant coffee, get a percolator, grind some fresh beans, and live life to its grandest! Lol, good luck!
@@Sheilah_LucasGraphics ditto! Thanks for inviting us to hang out for a bit at your spot which reminded me of a weekend bbq at a high end suburban neighborhood 😂
