The UW-Madison College of Letters & Science (L&S) is the largest college on the UW-Madison campus, offering the breadth and depth of a liberal arts education to more than 20,000 undergraduates and graduate students every year. Home to the arts and humanities, the physical and natural sciences, and the social sciences, L&S houses more than 60 interdisciplinary research centers and institutes and teaches more than 80 percent of freshman and sophomore credit hours.
