@@riversidepressurewashing2024 yard signs work great for me. And still to this day are how I get most leads but you have to stay on top of them. Every couple weeks i go put them back up at the entrance of my busy neighborhoods. It's expensive first starting out because your signs always get taken but I keep putting them back.
Congratulations Lopez6701 is the winner for the contest. Thank you everyone who played. You can see the drawing at the end of the video labeled "set up downstream Injector for beginners".
Damn dude these videos are amazing. I wish I had seen these about 3 weeks ago when I first started my journey, but still lots of great info since I am doing my upgrade to a 4gpm setup. I am using all of your links for stuff I don't have. ;)
@@SandeepRehal-eb1km sorry to hear that. what pressure washer do you have? Do you have a pressure gauge? Remember, you have to have the external unloader psi turned down lower than the factory unloader. Do you have the flow going in the correct direction, it needs to be facing away from the pressure washer.
@@hrehal6828 did you hook it up in the correct direction for the water flow. Can you explain a little more about what the problem is and I'll try and help you
@@dustinjohnson2116 that's correct. I Installed a pressure gauge before I put the external unloader valve on to see what my factory unloader was at, and then I installed the external unloader with the pressure gauge and turned that one just a little bit lower than the factory one.
@@bryanbahling2877 yes you should plug off the factory chemical injector hose. Simply find a small bolt that fits snuggly in the clear tube and use a zip tie to tighten around it. That's what I did and it worked great.
If you need a chemical injector You will want to use a general pump downstream injector, they are the best. amzn.to/3KTpA6I And you need the quick connects amzn.to/4bd9dN1
@@harrysylvester2736 Hi. I actually have a few newer videos on the channel that explain things a little better. There's also a complete truck build video that shares a lot of info on my setup. I am planning on doing a chemical video soon when I get some slow time. It's been very busy but that's a good thing! Hope you find all the info you're looking for! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Wxn2lBV67wI.htmlsi=wpruj_tAMnIb8_b-
@@MyPressureWashingBusiness ahh excellent. Thank you! I'm watching the truck bed build one as I type this! Definitely look forward to the chemical video when you get around to it! Great videos! Take care!
I bought everything in the Description through amazon except the engine. Amazon was out so I bought directly from bilthard. The engine was supposed to be here Saturday. Now I'm getting the run around with no answers. You had mentioned a predator engine do you still have a link for that? Thanks
@@joelpro-touch3494 hi. the 420cc builthard are back in stock on Amazon amzn.to/3Y5j2d0 But if you want the predator it's from harbor freight. Not sure if they ship engines though but you can check it out. www.harborfreight.com/13-hp-420cc-ohv-horizontal-shaft-gas-engine-epacarb-69736.html
“NEW BUSINESS “. I messaged you on the external ball valve. I’m starting with a 2.5 dealt but still getting more material. But Good videos bro. Keep up the info videos.
If your filling from the garden hose and stops with the float valve, wouldn’t it over fill due to it filing up with the external unloader valve? I’m not understanding something….
@@D-boi93 hi, I also had a hard time understanding how the float worked at first. But no it can't overflow. Once the tank is full the float valve will close and no more water will be coming in. Think of it as if the tank is now sealed completely off with only the water that is in it. If the pressure washer is still running, now it is just circulating the same water over and over until you pull the trigger on the gun and start spraying water, only then does the float valve reopen and replace the water you are using. Hope this helps.
@@MyPressureWashingBusiness so say I don’t use the pressure gun, an the tank is full.. well the water is still gonna fill because the float valve isn’t on that side..? Right.. if that makes sense..
@@D-boi93 The garden hose is no longer hooked up to your pressure washer once you install the external Unloader Valve. It is hooked up to the float valve on the buffer tank only, so there is no more extra water being introduced once the tank is full and the float valve closes. It only recirculates the 30 gallons you already have in the tank through your pressure washer
youve been a big help....i currently own a landscaping business but im getting into pressure washing so i can stay busy all year round....im going to build your 4gpm pressure washer......im pretty decent with my hands lol. Your videos are very straight to the point and informative.
I'm glad the videos are helpful. It's always a great idea to expand your services. Leave some flyers with your current customers to let them know you are now offering pressure washing. I bet they keep you busy.
You need somewhere for the water to go. Technically you could let it run on the ground but it would waste a lot of water. Part 2 of the video will be out in the morning and shows step by step how to build the buffer tank and everything about the unloader valve. Hope this helps!
@@MyPressureWashingBusinessI appreciate you for sharing, but I operate in a SUV and have no room for a buffer tank. Also I’m having an unloader valve problem on my pressure washer and when I don’t pull on the trigger, the pressure washer turns off so I’m speculating that this can fix it.
@@OfficalAram Good luck with fixing your machine. I can't say for certain if this would work for you but I am curious if it does. I honestly never tried it.
I built mine using a predator 420cc, I used it for the first time last night for a gas station job and noticed my oil stick was in place but looked like it had leaked oil. Any idea as to why that happened? Also I’m worried it’ll over heat
Hi, Did you ever figure out where the oil was coming from? A brand new engine shouldn't be leaking any oil! Was the oil cap tight? Or Is it maybe coming from the valve cover? Maybe something just needs to be tightened. Hopefully it's something simple.
@@CarlosHernandez-nt4en Predator is a decent machine in my opinion. Make sure you get the warranty if possible just in case anything were to go wrong. Anyways, I used a predator 4gpm for a few years. I really like them. Wash on my friend!
@@1painter4hire yes the remote Downstream is still working great. I actually left the remote on a job Tuesday. The customer called me and said they found it where I was parked. I'm going to swing by tomorrow and hopefully it still works lol. I do have a spare remote though. But yes other than that it has worked great.
@@johnratliff4594 hi. This is a 1 inch shaft; motor and pump. But there are smaller 3/4 inch too. Most 4gpm machines are 1 inch. If you are thinking of using a different motor or pump you just have to compare specs for each product to make sure they are compatible
@@dougtheunicorn193 these are the tips I run with a 4gpm and the 20 inch surface cleaner. It's recommended to have a 16-18 inch cleaner with 4gpm but I used a 20 inch for years. You may have to move a little slower in some situations but the size makes up for it in my opinion. amzn.to/3RUQrTR
