I agree with the goals of the templars, but definitely not their methods (colonialism, holocaust, etc) The assassins, on the other hand, have both a strange modus operandi and a strange imagination of peace, the templar wouldn't be a bad idea in my opinion, Unfortunately almost every templar are power addicted idiots, the assassins actually have a correct approach but an absolutely unrealistic goal that would rather lead to chaos, because if people are allowed to do 100% everything they want, they tend to become assholes, I would say the perfect one would be a mix of an assassin and a templar, an assassin with strategies and approaches of its own accord and with templar ideals and goals, basically Like Shay cormac Oh my goodness there are a lot of cruesader kids here...
The Assassins were basically the Kharjits (expelled from Islam), they plotted to kill the caliph Othman and they plotted war between Caliph Ali and Caliph Amir Muawiyah. They were addicts, with no moral code and honor. Templars on the other hand were bound by rules, they had a purpose, they had a duty to protect the people. They were honored by the Christians and non-Christians (like me) alike. They fought for something more than themselves. And I being a Muslim have learned alot of lessons of faith and courage from Knight Templars. One notable quote from Knight Templar I would like to share is: “For a man of faith, death is not the end. It is just a beginning; but till then you have a place with us for company.” God Bless You
May the Father of understanding Guide us one day we will fold the glory of a new world and see the extinction of the Assassins brotherhood in the face of the earth.
a long time ago, i was an Assassin, but then i saw the truth God has forgiven me, Deus Vult Any who Fight Peace shall die Bend to Peace or Bend for the Headsman's Axe May the Father of Understanding Guide Us, William S. Compton Former Assassin
Not really, no. I mean the templars wanted to control the world and the assassins wanted the world to be free to make their own decisions. In a way they're both not quite bad but not quite good.
@@songdaniels9960 This whole ''free world, people doing whatever they want'' is just a delusion, it doesn't exist. Even within the assassins, they are not free to do what they want, they do have rules, which if they break, they get expelled. And just like this, in the world there will never be real freedom, and neither should be. There has to be someone in control, to establish and maintain a structure, you can't just do whatever you want, otherwise there is no society. Templars are corrupt, yes, but corruption is natural if you think about it, it's in our nature to take advantage of what we have. The difference between the two is that both hope to achieve a better world/society, but the Assassins think this can be done by letting people do what they want, and Templars want to enforce it, but they are right, because you will never achieve a superior society if you just let people do whatever they want, many of them won't take the path of enlightenment, instead they will wallow in their own misery, and that is no superior society.
Their intentions are way better than those of the assassin's, but their over-confidence blind them and make them do horrible decision, not only in terms of morality, but also in a logical sense. They put the world in danger for their ideas and even greed
