Come unto him, all ye that labour, come unto him, ye that are heavy laden, and he will give you rest. Come unto him, all ye that labour, come unto him, ye that are heavy laden, and he will give you rest. Take his yoke up on you, and learn of him, for he is meek and lowly of heart, and ye shall find rest, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Take his yoke up on you, and learn of him, for he is meek and lowly of heart, and ye shall find rest, and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
PLEASE, tell us the name of the wonderful accompanist. She's amazing. Congratulations to both very fine artists. Where is this performance from? The U.S. somewhere? 2023-12-03, Burlington ON Canada.
I am a worship leader and we would love to use this video at the beginning of one of our services but as we live stream we need permission to use. I can't see where we can ask for permission - can anyone help?
If I could sing like that, I would sing all day. I wonder how old you were when you discovered your talent. Did you sing to yourself as a child? Thank you so very much.
This was the first aria I was given at the Conservatorium of Music. I adored it them and I still do now, 35 years later. Such a shame the introduction was cut short though. Well done
Good Lord, this is stunning. The quality of your voice stopped me in my tracks! Hey, I'm a singer-songwriter, and I sang this in voice lessons years ago. It's one of my faves. Please check out my original pop music if you like. Just look me up ---Angela Predhomme :) Hope you're doing well and actively singing still.
Oh no, not another opera singer related channel I found today, where the last video says "2 years ago", was everything opera wiped off the map by lockdown?
This singing is so beautiful. It uplifts your soul. I played this song while meditating on the passage in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 11:25-30. This is great comfort for those who are burdened with work. Even those who are "working from home" with extended work hours and deadlines during the pandemic. I am praying for all those who have to work so hard to make ends meet.
@@alikazerani "I'm no expert," which is probably why you don't hear it. Wonderful voice, but there are very little if any dynamics and very obvious American accent, harsh t and d sounds, very jarring for an Italian piece. Again, wonderful voice though, but it could definitely use some tweaking.
Yes, it's always a dead giveaway when you hear a soloist or a choir pronounce the sibilant sound for words that end in "t" and "d". You know right away that their language is English. I believe singers should learn to correct that when they're singing in Italian. alikazerani is right. It's jarring. 2023-12-03 Burlington ON Canada. She's a wonderful singer, though.@@correctandsexyaboutit
Very pretty! I’m doing this song too for college auditions, so I’m gonna tell you what my teacher told me. This song is really in the story- so you have to sell it. Phrasing, dynamics, and emotion really make this song (I mean, you’re telling God to have mercy on your soul and not to send you to hell!). It’s like you’re begging him out of desperation!! That’s the stuff I’m good at, but breath control is where I’m struggling actually (a stuffy nose and some jitters ;-;) so your video is really helpful to me!
