Did you know that you can use a well timed boost to avoid the damage and slowdown from the item that targets the first place racer? Nice run by the way.

Explanations translated from Japanese to English: 0:06 This is a TAS of Mario Kart Advance which runs through the 150cc Grand Prix at the fastest speed, taking full advantage of glitches. Wondering what a TAS is? Lookup TAS in the encyclopedia. 0:18 The numbers (from top to bottom) represent: The current speed, Top speed during normal driving, Mini Turbo Counter, and the current lap. 0:25 The Mini Turbo Counter accumulates while drifting, when it reaches 120 or more the Mini Turbo will be activated, if the drift is stopped then the counter will be reset to 0. 0:35 If the left and right inputs are switched without a 1 frame gap, the drift will continue, so by alternating left and right inputs every frame you can drift even in straight lines. 0:46 The reason why I have been intentionally hitting the wall earlier is to perform a "long boost", which slows the deceleration after a dash and allows you to go above top speed for several more seconds. Further detailed explanations and procedures will be given later. 1:03 The familiar Jugem Cut shortcut will be seen in the next course (Shy Guy Beach), but before that I want to explain how laps are counted in Mario Kart Advance. 1:09 There are no checkpoints on the course in Mario Kart Advance; so if the finish line is crossed forwards, the lap count will be incremented, and if the finish line is crossed backwards, the lap count will be decremented. That's it. 1:20 On the first lap of the course, we will perform the "Jugem Cut Ichishiki", which allows you to immediately go around the water area where the laps aren't checked. Another type of Jugem Cut allows another lap skip. Translation will be finished and amended to in replies
Nice! Probably small speed loss on the mud exit. Try to begin charging the final boost immediately after exiting the mud. Also remember, if you hit multiple bumpers in a row, you gain a noticeable speed boost. If you can have a tighter mud exit, chain the bumpers, and release final boost over the wall, I think you can get a 12.2x
You should attempt the big island jump lap! It’s not too difficult to do. There is an easy version that aligns it clearly. This is what I used for my 08”86 lap in 2020.
1’09 soon. Try to hop into the large grass area earlier. Imagine yourself intentionally jumping into the corner of the yellow wall. As you exit, try to be more to the left side. It’s a strange angle, but preserves your speed much more. Fix that error, and maybe the last corner , and you can achieve 13”5x without much trouble. 💪
Nice! Have you tried the right side mud cut yet? It’s actually not that difficult, and hitting it without any speed loss would result in a 1:03, possibly even a 1:02!
