Counter Strike is like football (soccer) / basketball Simple, clear objectives and rules, time limit, have attack and defence phases. Roles and equipment's are determined by player skills and tendencies, instead of in-game classes.
It's important to mention that TF|2's release date was Respawn's choice, not EA's. Everything that has killed this game has always been Respawn's fault. From the active choice to release it at the worse time possible, to trading it for a new golden goose, to the radio silence after the DDOSing, and finally attempting various games in the Titanfall Universe and eventually canning all of them... It's always been Respawn's fault.
The issue is more that EA had rights to choose game release times and they decided the drop date. EA has a bad tendancy to buy groups and trade people to where they want to make the games. They buy teams and shred them to find what works for them. Problem was how much gutting they do, they cant Gut Respawn and so they reduce assets and resources at most, leaving them in charge of Apex and leaving them in development limbo till it croaks. Think of it like people who bought stuff and then deleted stuff once profit isnt capable of sustaining a gain that supports there indevors so they shut it down to save money and repeat till they get enough to sustain themselves over time with little issue. Its why EA has been so comfortable trying to take massive risks and saying such horrible buisness practices freely. TF3 is a dev want to make but all the work they do gets threatened and switched to Apex. They keep trying to convert the playerbase from TF to play Apex as thats almost 8,000 accounts that arnt "Buying passes and cosmetics" which are already made. So EA is willing to bait it basically. Personally I wont touch apex, its a scam and EA should be burned in the wallet properly so we can get games back again Now we got a guy doing a game similar its called Desil Knights
To me Titanfall’s story reads like the prequel to what would happen to Anvil. Titanfall wasn’t injected with micro transactions so they moved to Apex. Anvil isn’t even close to as good as titanfall but it’s another situation where a community was ghosted as a result of a lack of money-making micro transaction systems that kept it profitable.
I am sorry to phrase it like this but are you blind because Sony may have rolled back their public statement Hell divers is still unavailable in over 170 countries #LetThePopeDive
I wasn't a fan of the titanfall 2 campaign. I think the use of time travel was a mistake. They always add the arbitrary rules so that time travel can only solve problems at hand and not the actual problem and they can say its not too powerful (except when its need to advance the story). Combined that with the run of the mill military hero story archetype. Sure the campaign played great but i was hoping for a better thought out story
I would argue that the First Order, in relation to the Sith Empire, is more comparable to Neo-Nazis. Hateful, misguided people of a new generation who are inspired by the horrors of the previous oppressors and take on their methods, their likeness, and a rabid passion to "finish what they started." Kylo Ren was a microcosm of the entire FO philosophy, down to misinterpreting Anakin/Vader's life.
Titanfall 2 had one of the best single-player campaigns I've ever played. Even though it was relatively short, I still vividly remeber every single mission. The entire concept of a bond between the titan and the pilot is so phenominal.
Spoke to a EA Dev who worked in game preservation: fun fact, titanfall 3 is binned forever. It was supposed to be called titanfall legends. And titanfall 2 cannot be fixed because the team who built it are all gone… RIP
I remember 2021 to 2022, titanfall 2 on xbox was actually unplayable and literally not a single online match was played. Thank god for private matches, which single handedly kept the game alive and the only places hackers could rarely touch
12:28 "But something was different". That is EXACTLY why Pacific Rim felt so good. Jagers weren't slow and clunky robots, but they weren't necessarily agile like Transformers. But I am still waiting for the day a film entirely focuses on these more... plausible closeness to a Mecha that isn't really a Jager.
titanfall isnt mentioned because the people who made titanfall and apex are no longer working at respawn. theyre all at wildlight entertainment. good for them too, fuck EA
i dislike people saying titanfall is dead/killed. I still play the game everyday and the game is very active. imo if you care about titanfall at all just play titanfall2 and take the game in your own hands as a community and make your own content for it as a community. tf3 will never happen because theres no one left at EA to make that game, other than the community itself.
