I'm all about V8 conversions and engine swaps. First choice is the 1uz-fe Toyota V8 or Lexus V8 if you prefer that. I also do 3uz-fe swaps. Lots of wiring including Immobilizer bypass. Next choice is the LS1 Chev V8 , or its big brothers the LS2 or LS3. As I do lots of wiring I also do a fair bit with aftermarket ECU and wiring including the odd V8 Sprintboat.
🤯Correct me if im wrong but looks like the only way to remove that stud for the second smooth pulley bracket is to remove the whole pulley assembly since the stud is actually a shoulder stud thats nutted as a bolt midlength that prevents it from being pulled through the pulley assembly hole since its larger than the stud hole ..what a pain to do in the car!
I recently got my injector serviced professionally and got all the O rings, filter and cushion replaced. After it, on one bank, the injector are having Vaccum leak. I have cleaned contact seats retighten bolts etc. Still there is an air leak. What can be the reason?

Hi Kelvin, I’m looking to do a 4x4 conversion. I live in Canada, so we don’t have hilux surfs here we get the 4runner. I’ve got a 1993 1uz from an ls400. I’d like to use the auto it came with but I’m having trouble figuring out which transfer case will work like the one in your video and what vehicle I can source it from. I need a passenger side drop t-case. Thanks

Quick question. I got the ob1 reader and scan tool for my 95 celsior. Apparently the fuse for the dcl2 (under steering wheel) is blown. I'm not sure where it's located to replace. Any suggestions?

I got a 2002 Lexus Ls430 for sale, check engine light comes on when car reaches operating temp probably thermostat or catalytic converter. still drives just in limp mode don't have time to take it to lexus no wof reg on hold passed its last wof no problem 420,000 kms still drives good shifts good no rattles etc wanting $2000 if anyone is interested based in upper hutt

Update: found the right part, but the obd1 port isn't working. Is there a fuse I'm missing? I found the 2nd fuse box under the steering wheel, but cannot seem to find which fuse it is since it's in Japanese. Ucf21 celsior. Thanks
hey mate, I need a little help, i having trouble with my SRS as the light is up on the dash, so i connect my Launch X431 V5 to the 17pin port half round under the dash on the right hand side as mine is a imported soarer 1992 1uzfe and it says it cant connect to the SRS ECM and shows no fault code when scanning. Is there something i am doing wrong with the scanning as i select Japan and soarer but shows no issues and i have replaced the ECM with matching numbers still no change.
Your my last hope, I'm using the long I put shaft and a conversion bellhousing and my throwout bearing won't work right, 5vz tob and 3vz clutch/fw It's like the input shaft sleeve doesn't reach far enough, what release bearing do I use??
I have a "95 SC400. My high pressure hose to the pump is leaking. My car is at The Car Care Nuts shop in Chicago. That hose is unobtainable. He has purchased 4 used hoses trying to find one that doesn't leak. A shop local to him quoted him $1200 to make one. The 4th hose is enroute to him now. If it doesn't pass pressure testing he is going to ship me one of the bad ones and I'm going to a local shop to see if they can beat his $1200 local quote. Parts scarcity has me seriously considering selling the car as bad as I hate to. Incredibly clean, 115K miles, just a gorgeous car.
