That's Tom Kennedy. He often plays with drummer Dave Weckl - they've been playing together since they were teens. Mostly an electric player but has an amazing upright sound.
Back in the early '80s I worked at the Chase Park Plaza in St Louis as a cocktail waitress & Asa Harris was singing with the house band for a time & Wow! She was such a fabulous performer! Made my job a privilege! Lol! God bless you Asa!🌻💞

Great voice and nice swing arrangement. Been looking at different versions of this song - Frank, Ella, Andy Williams, Nancy Wilson etc. Laverne is up there with the best of them, and better I think than most.
