Need HELP, 2013 bmw 528i Drive Terrain malfunction At 100k miles, did timing and services. After 1000 miles for DT malfunction error. Changed below 1. Battery 2. Replaced spark plugs 3. Changed ignition coils 4. There are no issues with pump and catalytic convertor ( tested ) 5. Replaced Variable vault Timing Still gets alert. Symptoms: DT alert usually comes after 5 minutes of driving and losses power. After I park vehicle for 1 hour alert is STILL there, but the power is back until I get alert after 5 minutes of drive. Alert comes twice, then engine light will be ON for 3 days and resets. The same cycle goes on and on. Currently is 115k. All I need is alert to go off completely. PLEASE HELP

The plunger in the VANOS central valve on my F30 is broken during the valve cover removal. I have a new part but if I remove the bold will it change the timing ?

The steering column of the vehicle is ZF brand, but the repair kit is from thyssenkrupp.Bushing is different. Was there any problem in the installation? My vehicle has a ZF steering column and I cannot find a repair kit.

How did you mount the motor back on the bracket ? You need to put the spring back under tension. Same way with a screwdriver ?

I have the same peoblem is like you hear the motor but it make a noise i remove it the mirrorr but it was impossible to get to the motor i gaved up😢

Did this and all of a sudden none of my doors lock with the central locking button. The key locks and unlock the mirrors, but the door lock itself won’t do anything. What could be the problem

When you pryed open the motor casing ... it looked like they were glued together. Do you use glue to fix back the casing?

Really you don’t have to remove anything, just disconnect old window from regulator , slide out at a angle and slide new one in at a angle so you don’t bend the seals and reconnect
