Thomas came out and started hitting gaps, grinding big rails, flip tricking big gaps, and doing gaps to grinds (was he the 1st to ollie a sizeable gap to a grind larger than a bonk or tap?) and Joslin came out and did the same in his own regard. You've got to have determination, resolve and fortitude to do this stuff on top of having "skill" or "talent"...no fear, no second guessing, no pussy footing, nope, 100% give it everything or get broke off. Skateboarding is like a feeling, unlike any I've felt, so it's worth it but it's takes it's toll.
Brandon begin tried to half cab on a bmx and knocked himself out. One of my friends did an x-up ride down it. Some 16 year old kid tailwhipped it. And numerous numerous others broke themselves off on it too

Always wanted to go there. I’ve been to Brooklyn Banks, can’t go to Hubbard Hideout anymore. Now EMB and China Banks are the only spots left on my list.
How about... get rid of the people who made it dangerous, instead of getting rid of the thing... There are so many areas of the country where you could have built this and there would have been little to no problems and it would still be standing largely unvandalized to this day. The fact is areas like these run by people with the agendas that they have, will never ever have anything nice ever again, because they refuse to solve the actual problem.
