When Cossy Drained all the magic from Equestria unicorns could not do magic but Pegasus could fly, so them flying can happen without magic, then again Tirek drained there magic and they couldn't fly, might have drained there physical strength to
Just as a silly thought experiment I figured out how pegasi can fly especially when they move their wings really slow. Their world has a super dense atmosphere like Venus (without the searing heat and acid). Doesn't explain the walking on clouds thing, but it's the best I could come up with for a cartoon. Just say it's due to magic I guess.

The cloud thing was introduced in Sonic Rainboom, in season 1. Rainbow Dash: Wait! How'd you do that? Only Pegasus ponies can walk on clouds. Pinkie Pie: Haha. Pretty cool, huh? Twilight Sparkle: I found a spell that makes temporary wings, but it was too difficult to do more than once. So I found an easier spell that lets the rest of us walk on clouds. Lauren Faust also said the pegasi are filled with helium or something. Basically she didn't think about any of this, so when people started bothering her about it when she wasn't even working on the show anymore, she made up a bunch of nonsense so they would stop asking.
These last specials are not as great as the rest of EG, but they do have some memorable quotes: "I wouldn't trade you for anything in the world. In any world" "All my things are horse things!" "Nobody calls Tickle Fruit 2 silly!" "I'm a conscientious objector!" That's mostly what I got from them. I love the snowball fight though. It's so silly and so clever at the same time, with all the war movie tropes. The rest of the holiday special I don't really care much for, to be honest.
Holidays Unwrapped was just so boring to sit through and barely had redeeming qualities. It's passable for a holiday special, but it being the finale to the series is where it really falls short. The only thing I liked about was the girls in their winter outfits, and that's it lol
technically equestria girls never got a really finale unlike friendship is magic witch is a shame because we never got to see the rainbooms future and how they turned out and we never got to see any other human counterparts like starlight glimmer’s human counterpart and we never got a redemption arc for the dazzlings and so on instead equestria girls ended along side friendship is magic.

Fanfics can carry any fandom but I think (In My Opinion) it REALLY carried mlp. The first mlp media I consumed was fanfics. I read fanfics before I even watched the actual show
I got her delivered today. The dress is made of that cheap nylon taffeta, it’s meh. The doll herself is just stunning 🤩 I got her ears pierced at purchase, they must have had dolls with pierced ears ready to go as she arrived 4 days after I ordered her 😮
I personally like tragic themes, slice of life, adventure, slight romance, combat, emphasis on character development. Usual wourd count I look for is between 100k-700k. The story i want to immerse myself in should be long enough to enjoy for a period, but not too long where the author starts running out of ideas. My favorite thing is when an author creates a massive inuniverse lore that makes sense and flows nicely. One of the main issues when writing a proper fanfic is that the author will add too many characters and plot lines to keep track of. This usually makes the main plot of the story seem unimportant, and I immediately loose interest. My 3 best Fanfics that I've read so far below Grief is the Price We Pay - A good tragic slice of life story (if Thorax was rejected with Spike in the Crystal Empire). 600k, slight grammar issues. Changing Expectations - Slice of life, slight cosmic horror themes, action, romance. (An AU from a changeling perspective on a war with Equestria, with an underlying mystery/secret danger). 520k, with sequel. The Centurion Project - Dark themes, past trama, combat, family. (This story leans heavily on character development as our protagonist attempts to heal from past trama. A lot of twists and turns with this one.) 660k, unfinished. Also the story has an amazing audio book option on RU-vid by Firehearth Studios. About half the book is available in audio, ~30+ hours. Sorry, just had to rant about this stuff cus I don't have anyone to talk to about this 😂.
I really love Storm which is just an intense episode of the show where Ponyville is destroyed. I like explaining canon like There Is No Luna but I really love exploring characters. Also bat ponies but vampires give me all of it.
:O I remember the snowdrop one! I haven't watch it a while tho. About fanfics tho? I tend to stick to more "vanilla" ones, I suppose. Sometimes, I leave it and then regret it.
Luckly for me just about all the complaints on my fan fics are bad grammar. I like just about any fan fic but my favorite ones are usually a good comedy or tear jerking tragedies
I liked the movie for what it was but the Storm King did almost nothing throughout the whole thing except for the climax. That would my biggest complaint.
The storm king seems to me to be able to show that Opaline was not so bad, since the storm king showed himself to be someone who was capable of killing his minions when he betrayed them, but when Opaline discovered Misty's cutie mark she felt so betrayed but no. It did her no harm and gave her another chance to be his helper even though he no longer needed her for anything.
The Storm King is at best a mid villain in writing, but his actions on paper are horrible, making him much worse ethics wise than Opaline. Opaline is not bad for evil sake, in my opinion. She believes her self is helping pony kind. She also has more than 5 minutes of screen time.
Celestia says half of a sentence before being turned to stone. The outcome: - Storm King dead - Zero casualties on Equestria's side - Lost Equestrian citizen recovered - Powerful magical artifact recovered - Bunch of new allies - Twilight learns a valuable lesson - Everyone is more excited than ever for the festival That mare sure knew her stuff. No wonder Equestria fell apart after she retired. Also, Tempest's story in the comic books following the movie is amazing. She meets with her old friends, including her old friend the Ursa Minor... Also, the screenwriter Michael "mktoon" Vogel went on to create the amazing show that is Berry in the Big City :) And he also wrote a bunch of MLP:FiM episodes and the Christmas special. Also, there is a different version of the movie's opening scene floating around with a different song. Daniel Ingram was really upset that this was changed. He said the movie was going to open with a 7-minute musical number, and he worked really hard on it and then no one got to see it. Also, I went to see this movie in theaters with my dad and my brother :) I get why a lot of people don't like it, but I think it's neat.
Wow, you know so many things about this. I feel bad for Daniel, but I don't like long musical numbers or musicals in general. I am sure his opening would have been great.
The One Thing I Have The Problem With The My Little Pony Movie Is Why Wasn’t Starlight With Her Friends When They Were Under Attack Starlight Is Literally A Powerful Unicorn 🦄 She Literally Could’ve Just Teleported In Front Of Twilight When She Was Just About To Be A Statue & Teleporting Her & Twilight Out Of There Or Better Yet She Could’ve Literally Just Teleported In Front Of Her & Putting Up A Shield/Barrier 🛡️ Just Giving Twilight & Starlight Enough Time To Make It Out Of There
I believe she was retroactively added to the movie in cameos. This began scripting long before Starlight was even a thing in mlp yet. Same with the Dragons and Changling, their alliance was not written about yet when the movie was in production. Your idea would have worked, though. I love hearing what others have to say.
Mother Gothel and Rapunzel's relationship is similar to that of Opaline and Misty, the only difference is that Opaline did not kidnap Misty, she just picked her up and gave her the basic needs that a child needs, which are food and a roof to sleep in. Also at one point when Opaline asked Misty for help choosing a crown, she leaves as if nothing had happened and Opaline does not force her to stay or even chains her, instead Mother Gothel chains Rapunzel and forces her to leave with her. Even the reason why Mother Gothel took Rapunzel away is because she always needed her hair, but Opaline gave Misty another chance to become her helper again when she no longer needed her for anything.
