The only work not performed by me was the engine build. That was done by FE Specialities. A body shop painted it with factory color match. All the other fabrication I did. As for the cost, I would have been better off buying a house...!!!....I probably had 50 large...
Ethan Parker ,yeah, I didn't really want to sell her either. If I had a shop to keep her out of the weather, I would have kept it. It went to Oklahoma. I have a 75 F100 short box 4x4, 360, std. tranny now. Good solid ranch truck. Take care, Bryan
waaay too much....if I had to guess, around 35 to 40. that was the second paint job I had done. I used the truck off road. that's what they are for!!!!
@ Jim. Called the guy who provided my donor running gear, as it turns out it was a 79. Again, an error on my part. So for the record, 79 rung gear, and an NP205 married to a BW T-19 with an Advance Adapters Ranger OD box in front.
Yes Jim, you are right. The t-case is an NP205 an error on my part. and yes it is not an F350. It is an F250. When replacing the badging, "I" choose to use 1-ton badging. It was my build, and what "I" wanted. The front axle and rear ARE from an F350 tow truck from 78. The badging on THAT TOW TRUCK HAD F350 ON THE SIDE. Did someone put that on there? don't know. The badge was weathered, and looked original to me. I assumed it was.
hey i was wondering if your truck was for sale. i am trying to find my first truck. i also really like your truck so if u ever think about selling your truck ask me please
that is a bute good work brotha love to see them come back to life if ppl would spend money on these old trucks like they do would would have a lot better trucks out there at half the cost...
I will keep my ears and eyes open for another. Ford only made 641 in 69. they are hard to find. and yeah I think I listed it too low. thanks for the compliments.
+Bryan Simmons They can be found on Craigslist, but are usually very rusted in not great shape... or they're restored and destroyed with heavy chrome, smoke stacks, 9" lifts. These old trucks have such beautiful lines, I can't figure why people have to add all that 'extra' to them. Thanks for your help and replies.
+Bryan Simmons I found the orig listing on eBay...seemed like the price was far too low. Anyways, beautiful restore! I'm on the hunt for a rust free body just like it, know where I might find one? Thanks for your response.
