Yes it is a specific size. Just go to your auto parts store and give them your year, make and model of your car and they will hook you up. Don’t worry about putting one now just do it on your next oil change.
WOW! 44 THOUSAND views and I am only the 280th person to give ya thumbs up. Seems like there are a lot of lame folks out there eh? Thanks man, I will probably have to go buy borrow a socket for that. at least i wont have to look for the hole it goes into. LOL
No worries. Im just glad the video helps people. I was ready to start removing interior pieces trying to get to the O2 sensor connector until I realized it was actually a rubber plug under the car. Yes I would definitely recommend getting an O2 sensor socket.
Bro is the GOAT😭! I had a whole convo with my dad yesterday about trying to figure out and replace the wiper fuse. Then i saw your video and was like ( NOoo, WaYyy)😂. But it worked bros. It didnt work on the 1st try though. Roll the rear window down all the way and up again and BOOM You got rear wipers.
Thanks for sharing. I was about to diagnose it and glad I looked at your site. Big savings on time. My rear view window was slightly down that I don’t even notice it. After I did what you said it finally worked. Good man
Thanks mine would not work neather would my defrost the window was all the way up but I rolled it down just a touch and back up and both work now thanks again
If i may add. I bought a oil/fluid manual pump extractor for 99 bucks at Harbor Freight. Literally the easiest oil chane you can ever do on a car. Believe me. Worth it.
Tysm! Same scenario, checked the fuse and everything. Then I saw your video and pushed the window up button. I swear the window didn’t even move, but I tried the washer right after and it worked.
Yeah, I wasn’t aware of that at the time. I had a bad experience cross threading spark plugs on one of my old vehicles so I vowed to always use ant seize when installing spark plugs. Also I made a mistake on the torque spec. I meant to say 17 nm instead of 17 ft lbs
Appreciate the video Edgar-nicely made. Really helpful to show the owner's manual and the V8's fluid capacities. My rear skid plate's-you say 'access panel'- bolts were 12mm heads but that was easy enough to figure out. Thanks for taking the time to help others do this for themselves.
Thank so much!! I was ready to go to the mechanic. I bought this car new 16 years ago and I just learned about this. Let me share another thing I learned yesterday regarding this car, if you remove the passenger head rest, you can recline the seat all the way flat and use it like a bed. Who knew.
You’re welcome. That’s awesome, I wasn’t aware of that. I have a 2001 Honda CRV that does the same thing with the seats folding in to a bed. Comes in handy when camping 👍🏽
Dude, you are the best! Woke up in the middle of the night thinking about how I was gonna get my rear windshield wiper fixed. Saw your email this morning and you saved my day!
Thanks for the fix! I was literally about to find a RU-vid video to find the fuse to replace because my wiper and fluid will not come out of the back window! Thanks! I also have a 2007 4runner limited!
