I love the idea of buildings that are cool without the need of a/c but (coming from flood zone areas) how does the design prevent water seepage? I’ve had one home with a basement and the humidity was a huge problem.
In which language, most of the ancient manuscripts were written in India? (including stone inscriptions, palm leaf manuscripts, coins, seals, potteries etc)
Instead of constructing modern structure to protect ancient manuscripts, they could have just shifted it to.another city with natural cool weather n protected then there.
I think outer structure is constructed to preserve the alter. It has no other function. I always thought ' Allora caves ' or other ancient structures be preserved like this. I don’t bother what kind or style of structur preserves our "Dharoher".
Built entirely of concrete with no trees, won't be cool for summer. This isn't heat resistant structure. Looks at some buildings in Rajasthan. To provide cooling, a separation is created between the two walls and filled with thermally insulating material.
For anyone wondering, the designer is not Indian but Iranian, and the religion is also Iranian. The Bahai people were discriminated against by the Islamic government of Iran, so they escaped to various countries. So many dumb people in the comment spreading misinformation.
