As Willy Hernandez would say back in the old days "Daredevil Danny". First local PBA Player to score more than 60 pts in one game. He had 64 pts that night in 1977
RIP idol.

Was an avid fun of Danny Florencio in my high school days. Wow, long time passing. . . What a fast running guard. Enjoyed his “ steals “ of basketball from opponents. Thank you Danny for the wonderful basketball games you played in the ‘70’s. RIP
My fondest memory of Danilo Florencio was listening to the radio on the Philippines vs South Korea and Shin Dong Pa. At the end Florencio won the game for the Philippines.
At first I wasn’t a fan of this man as I was always a Crispa Redmanizer fan and he played for Utex. Then he went to Crispa. And instantly he got my support. What a player this man was. Thanks for the wins and the memories sir Danny. 🙏🏼👍🏼💚🏀
What a lovely woman, and human being, was Dominga. She was first an insurance client of mine, nearly 20 years ago, and we became friends. She followed my children growing up, and she shared her family stories too. We cried at her table, and also laughed - a lot! News of her death brought tears. My heart goes out to all her family and beloved friends. She was a TRUE GEM.
His best PBA Season came in 1977. He averaged over 32 pts per game and he scored 64 in one game, which was the single game scoring record that time. Later broken by Caidic when he had 68. Alvarez scored 71 in 1990 and Allan reclaimed the record in 1991 having 17 triples and tallying 79pts.
