Well that certainly worked out for you, but I'm guessing that if you didn't have that feature and actually hit the car in front of you you would no longer mess with your phone while driving. I don't know I wasn't there but it's just my hunch 😎
I was paying attention the problem was even with plenty of space in front of myself the other driver slammed on their brakes unexpectedly right after getting in the lane and faster than I could react my car was slowing me down safely. Given Super Cruise only stays on while you are looking forward and paying attention I do not expect to overly rely on it and haven't, but in an extreme situation it performed surprisingly well. Of course always pay attention and drive safely!
So did you start braking on your own as soon as you noticed the other driver was going to enter your lane in order to create sufficient distance? Driving isnt just about you acting, its also about how you personally react to others. Allowing people to believe that their car will magically save them if something goes wrong is dangerous.

The button on the rear Hatch doesn't unlock it, it opens the rear Hatch, it's ajar and you must close it if change your mind The rear Hatch mechanism does not lock but it also doesn't have a user accessible lever to open the Hatch, the fob activates the electric switch that opens the Hatch when pressed
Interesting, well my range goes down to about 220 in cold weather. Otherwise it’s been fine. Do you fast charge at level 3 charging often? That could degrade the battery faster. I only level 2 charge at home.
Got mine Jan 29th 2023 and have 40k miles it… the only thing I wish the car had has the handle above the door on the driver side just like the passenger side…. I have life time 4.5k per mile… I am not in a rush cause I am driving for work so don’t typical speed. I live in Texas so not too cold which helps!!
1. Have you done a TPMS sensor re-learn after your last tire rotation? The tire indicating low pressure may not be the one showing on the display. 2. The extra charge ports are behind the center arm rest. I plug in to one of those and charge the phone in the cupholder. No wire going across the cubby/shifter area that way too.
Thanks. Any advice tailored towards new entrants is super helpful right now seeing the current job market. People even with a bit of experience can find their way around but its especially hard for newbies. Struggle is real.
That is very true. The one big thing I left out of the video is the importance of who you know and getting jobs based on being referred is sometimes the only way to get a job these days.
Enjoyed the video. A note on auto wipers. You don't need to use the touch interface to disable them. Just push the right steering wheel stock down from the "auto" position to the "off" position and auto wipers will be disabled until you bump the stock back up to the "auto" position.
your tip 1. unlocking the drivers side with 1 push will unlock the drivers. pushing it twice will unlock all. and a third time will lock all. passengers is all both ways. just bought a new 2023 bolt euv premiere redline with sun and surf. midnight black metallic i do like the warming feature, as it just engages the heater with nothing else going. other than the sound of the heater fan, you don't know it's on at all. and i like it takes from the charger supply and not from the battery if plugged in. little heavy on consumption when you need heat, but otherwise a great electric car.
There are actually a lot of public chargers that have free charging for an hour or two, usually a level 2 charger, but even some level 3 chargers will be free to try and incentivize people to use it. The one I charged at was for residents of the building, and I was there for work and got to use it. Thanks for the question!
Congrats on getting a Bolt! I use apps like: Routely, Chargepoint(commonly Level 2), plugshare, EVgo, EV connect, and Electrify America. They all have slightly different info in the apps, so try them out to see which one provides you he most info for your area. Good luck finding what you need.
@@thundermighty Thanks! This has been my fourth day with it and second day commuting to work (120kms). So far I have really enjoyed driving it. It drives incredibly smooth compared to my old gas powered clunker. 👍😁👍
Really like the video I wanted to get started in IT but I really have no idea where to start I'm going off to college this year do you have any tips about that.
Thanks for the great question I want to get you a good answer, and funny timing this is the 3rd time lately getting similar questions. With that in mind I am going to make a video going over the topic to help answer the question, but I will make sure to reply here with an answer as well.
@Bigtreeman Sorry it took a bit, I really hope this helps get you started. This is the video before it goes live: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RmYKGTh1aZ8.html
