Saw them in Freiburg/Germany as an opening act to Motörhead. Up to this day in 2024 I can´t make up my mind as to who was better that night. For an opening act they ´ve been WAY TOO GREAT. On that evening it was two great bands we enjoyed watching and hearing.
I had the pleasure of seeing Bobby way back in 1976 at Comsewogue High School with his brother Teddy on guitar in their band Tusk. It was really quite good and I thought for sure that band would have been signed and went on the big things. But there was not enough time before Bobby had offers to go off with other bands. A bit of a shame though, his brother Teddy is equally talented and it's possible they could have done well with that early Tusk line up. Anyways... a tough business, and I don't walk in their shoes, so I am sure there is more to it. Great players though.
