Welcome to Ibra's Garage! I'm a regular everyday car guy, fix and slightly improve the quality of the rides.
I don't professionally work on cars. All the stuff im doing is based off internet / forum posts and as easy + cheap as possible to sort out, keep the rides running, enjoy the experience of owning them.
Feel free to reach me out from Instagram, I will be happy to answer your questions or guide you for the trouble you are dealing. If the video you watched is helpful, hit the buton like and subscribe to support my channel..
yeah put the stock ones back in. :D if you just want newer look you can get halogen bulbs with blue coating, the light will be nice and white. Your LEDs are trash
Salut !
Hello, I have the same problem with my Audi A4 B6 and the water heater doesn't work. I watched your video and changed the switch, but the same problem still doesn't work, and if there is another relay or guard here
Excellent job. As the same car owner a few questions please. It seems like there was no oil leak then where the hell oil went? And do you think that cleaning the bolt or just removing it from the bottle the system bleeded by itself? If you can answer I will be appreciated. Thanks again. Good luck with your car.
Removing the second bolt definitely bleeded it for transferring out. Cant really speak about loss of hydrolic, where it went off and how. Ive been having days opening/closing even twice, all running okay for now. 🤞🤞
@@doodledo5226 i think they will be fine. You can also just get a pair of 15mm, test drive around and then order 20mm in 2 3 weeks. Make sure you are happy with your ride and coffee view 🙏
I will take a picture for you. I dont remember RN. You dont actually need a lot of it. 250ml would be enough but 30 bucks is pricy for that cheap oil and its purpose.
So the hydraulic oil showed up, i swapped it out but it hasnt solved the issue. The roof is getting stuck because the lock isnt releasing that holds the roof down when its stowed away. As soon as you let go of the button it releases the lock. But you cant do it without turning the car off and on again. Weird
@@darrenlomax1283 is there second bolt which will eventually transfer out the hydrolic? When you turn of the car, the system stops itself and lets off everything. Its the same for me.
So how can I solve it? When the roof cover opens (and gets stuck), if somebody holds it up and I power cycle the engine I can get the roof to fully open or fully close, but I need someone to hold it. It sounds like air is trapped in the hydraulic lines because there is a hiss when the car is turned off. I dont know how to bleed it off. Ive power cycled the roof about 10 times.
Thank you so much. Issue with e88 roof closing slowly. Changing oil today at the old oil is grey in colour. Will refill with roof down as it's supposed to give an accurate reading and will clean the bolts too. Thank you very much🙏
Thank you very much. Got e88 same issue going to fill fluid today and having issues with lid not closing fully. Will clean the bolt. Thank you so much....
Sorry mate, got a little busy day. You can contact me via Instagram, i can add see what i can do for you. Im part of some car and in addition foreigners communities in Sofia.
Very interesting video. I just discovered your channel and already subscribed. I like cars too and I am from the UK but have a house in Oresh near to Svishtov. I want to connect with people who love cars like me ..I specifically love German cars and classics. I have a few VW cars and I am looking for a VW MK1 or MK 2 Jetta Coupe ( 2 doors ) , a BMW E21 and a VW Santana and a Volga 24 to buy. I also want to find a good place where they restore cars . Do you know any garages?
@@ibrasgarage thanks alot for the reply, i got one more question tho. My customer's car locks all doors from the fob or inside button, but doesnt unlock them, only locks, i guess in this case its the module?
@@bas0puh exactly the same issue but solution is 50% GM module or door actuators. You can test it only with another actuator if the spare part provider gives you test period.
I was lucky enough to buy my e36 with that bumper when i brought it, i must say, i do prefer the msport kit, but since seeing how rare it is i have decided to keep mine on
Here in Bulgaria and mainly in Europe, M3 style is very common. I was kinda bored of same look + wanted to have something budget&performance. I dont regret, the final result was great.
@@ibrasgarage Holy 😅how long did it take? Did it take many tries to get it done? Im guessing its a pretty hard job from that good luck hehe, thank you for the reply!
My mechanic did everything in two days. Only the big waiting part was for the shaft. Once u put the transmission, u will have to measure and send your shaft to the shop for making it shorter. Rest of them is plug&play such as clutch pumps and pipes etc. I also recommend purchasing new transmission clutch pump, it will become super light.
@@ibrasgarage Oh wow, thank you so much for answering so quick and so detailed that means a lot to me! I'm actually very inspired to do this as i wish my car had sixth gear so much, thank you again and great project you had!! I'll be sure to remember this and come give an update if i indeed do it
if the problem is located only on pasanger door, might be a faulty door actuator on that door. Curious if you managed to repaire if i was corect. Greatings from the other side of the Дунав! cheers
im loving these style 32s on your car. What size tyres are you running front and rear? Also what suspension do you have in it? it sits absolutely perfect
@@ibrasgarage are these 8 ET20 and 9 ET26 rear? what sort of springs? eibachs? do you have a link where i can buy the springs - your drop is perfection
