Terima kasih bang! I just change my car one week ago, but I already tried on this VEP issue for many months. Only 2 weeks ago I discover there is a [Deactivate] icon in red at the page of [Manage Your Vehicle], below the [Register a new car] / [Request Vehicle transfer.] After repeated key in the same particular for many many many times. Finally manage to send out all the 4 attachment (including both side of my IC) through email. After that I thought should be able to register my new vehicle, but fill in all my detail again and again and again, until I ready cannot endure anymore. Finally I can only Give up!
Read my lips... The dead line will be extended again. Just make it simple... sell us the tag... we will pay for it ... NO QUESTION ASKED A Win Win situation...😊
Sorry but you sound like a broken record repeating things that you have already said, more like a platform to vent your frustration with VEP, granted yes VEP application is not perfect
Thanks for highlighting the issue. I hope something can be done. Like you, I’m stuck at the deregistration stage as I sold my old car and bought a new one but kept my licence plate. I cannot register the new car as the system keeps saying I already have registered that licence plate number. And there is no option to deregister the old car on the website.
My case slightly different. I have my VEP done at 2019. This year my VEP expire and we tried to renew and cannot be done. We have follow whatever steps that state on the Malaysia VEP website and waited for months and nothing is being done. Anyone face this problem and able to resolve please share. Thank you.
I faced exactly the same issue. Super frustrating. We want to cooperate, but Malaysian VEP authorities don’t allow changes or updates on the website, don’t answer emails and the hotline is not usable as no one answers it. I also changed my car and cannot deregister my old car, so I cannot register my new car. I sent many emails and spent already too much $$$ waiting on the line for a hotline response, for nothing. I give up already. Cannot drive into Malaysia after Oct 1 unless there is a U-turn.
thats our govenment.they are too lazy to maintain their web service. i've encountered this problem so many time in many of their website. trash service by a trash government.
Cannot just sell the VEP tag. They want data of the vehicle so that they can trace the vehicle to clear their summons. But they forgot, usually, when their police saman foreign vehicles, they always offer RM300 pay at office or RM100 pay on the spot. 😂 Foreigners always don't want trouble therefore always choose the RM100 on the spot payment. Aiyah.. whatever lah.. I'm driving a used car, also don't know how to find the previous owner to deregister. No drive to MY then no drive lor..
Dato Mechanic Besar, your army buddy here. Since 2016 I have approval but was never told I can come down and collect. Hahahaha...2024, I de-registered my old veh and applied a new one, happy. But issue is still there...approved but pending collection
“They only need to email us to make a change. This is to solve the problem faced by second-hand car owners. They do not need to come to our counter. They just need to request the deregistration through email. This is to ease the process,” Loke explained. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ As per Minister Loke explained above, how can we do that? is there any guide line for deregistration by secondhand car owner to proceed with re-registration?
Tip for de-registration: email to aduanvep@jpj.gov.my. I find their response fast and helpful. Another tip: refrain from comparing with SG. Malaysia’s bureaucracy needs plenty of improvement but is already better than ever.
Mr Hassan. You have put in detail the problem we (motorists) encountered. We are law abiding motorists. We did what was told by the VEP authority but faced a lot of problems as mentioned by you in the video. Wrote letters to them but no response. Just to add a little incident I had last week with a Malaysian registered car. On my way to JB at the JB side of the causeway where three lanes merged into one ( a bottle neck case). My car was stationary at the one lane bottle neck. Suddenly a car driven by a woman rammed into my car. She did not come out to apologies and said, "Take photo of my driving license and I/C and make a police report" . Of course I did the necessary things in the JB Traffic Police and Singapore side. Till now, I can not repair my car because I have not got the report from JB Traffic Police with regard to the "accident". So Spore motorists be careful when you are in "Bolehland.
I have encounter three times years ago, when I finish stamping passport,, the barrier not up, but in order to let the barrier up. press Call button no use. car behind impatient, no choice use Tng card to pay, So i am making double payment as My VEP tag already deducted my credit card has made payment already link to TNG eWallet and vep tag ,i also top up to R40, can refund if you prove the receipt email to TNG , but troublesome,
They are very efficient in terminating my previous VEP which was working fine with my existing TnGo mobile app, with many deductions did before from my E-wallet account. But when it comes to application, they don't help and never reply my email why their system anyhow say I don't have an existing TnGo mobile app with the application of my VEP tag being stalled now. Alamak ...we have always love Malaysia, why did they do this to torture us in return, what have we done to deserve all these miseries?
same story as CYBERJAYA , all those VIP and ceremony and press releases, so much hot air. it now empty. Nothing actually happened. Zero mile stone to speak of. So much talk and more talk. Destroyed the railway just to spite the neighbour, but resulted in significant shipping issues. NOW wants to start railway to Singapore World busiest port. Cargo all the way to China.
Actually i want to finish watching your video and i got so excited about your title. First 5 sec of your video I shut it off because you said “let’s get to the point” and then you went to talk about your so called no sugar Pepsi! This is so DUH! Sorry mate… better video next time.
I have encounter three times below when I finish stamping passport,, the barrier is not up, but in order to let the barrier up. I press the Call button , but is no use.No one is coming to help . In the end, waited for a while, car behind impatient, So I no choice use Tng card to made payment, So actually i am making double payment many years ago, My VEP tag already deducted and my credit card has made payment already link to TNG eWallet , once barrier dont go up, you have to use card to pay then open, pay X2 . but can refund if you prove the receipt email to TNG , but troublesome, now my problem is cannot renew VEP!
Application approved and paid for. Received confirmation letter via email saying will received by post within 10 days. Now already 16 days still no sound no picture from them. Send email to them also no reply. Mr Loke hope you watching this.
Hmmm not sure why many complains here, registration process is OK for me leh, no major issue encountered. And they sent my RFID by post for just 10 Myr, across the boarder you know.
I guess you are first time applying this VEP which have no problem. for those existing VEP holder which we have to de-register and apply new one,, we are still stuck at de-registration 😅😅😅
I submitted for renewal of my current vep tag. Received their "VEP Tag Renewal Confirmation Slip. But could not collect new VEP Tag with it at TCSens-JB.
Just dont drive la just walk...why vep is usefull for Malaysian you know how stupid your driver in Malaysian highway meyh you dont follow our law you drive like bapak you punya jalan...
Mr. Hassan you hit the nail on the head of the Minister of Transport(JPJ). You are the BEST. This VEP move will certainly affect the commercial/retail business in JOHOR. I go to JB 4-6 times a month......It is so 'Leh Che" to apply for VEP. Ah 'Terok Ah' ......Malaysians you are WELCOME to my Singapore . Too much of personal particulars given to VEP. I am glad I am a Singaporean, My government and LTA is the BEST!
Malaysia koyak lah. JPJ and their Vendor, TCSENS website really koyak. I cant even deactivate my previous car as such the new owner cant register. Many more issues lah. Really koyak rabak. Minister pls check at your VEP n TCSens staffs what are they doing.
Ii did now change car! my carr VEP expired and I couldn't renew or even apply for a neew VEP. Like u menntion, the JPJ system is a failure. It keep saying "Error! you have previously registered and cannot proceed" Similiar email them is useless.
Why can’t they appoint a few establishment in Singapore to issue and place the VEP locally? They can review and approve these establishment and even if they charge $100 per vehicle, if it is a faster process, Singaporeans I believe will still pay..
