I enjoy travelling and good eats. Recently returned from Japan and Thailand with lots of videos to upload.
Next planned trip is to Philippines, Thailand and Japan October, 2024. Plan is to also attend Osaka Expo in Spring, 2025. Also a few side trips in Canada.
Videos will be posted every Saturday or Sunday time around 8 AM Eastern time. A second weekly video may be posted during the week.
Thank you for putting up the prices right away! So many videos don't do that!!! And I was gonna say the food looks pretty bad and happy to see you said the same! Will not be bothering with this place. The overall atmosphere and plate settings look drab too. Honestly, Mandarin still kills it! The Box Grove location is very good!
You make an excellent point about the pricing. I'll keep trying to do that. I've learned from prior videos that the most viewed part of the video is the pricing. I haven't been to a Mandarin for a very long time. Need to check one out and maybe do a video.
It ONLY SEEMS TOO BIG😮😮😮😮 the food , you can see it in other buffet restaurants. It's too expensive with that kind of ordinary food. No way will I go there, SORRY !!!!!!!!
There has been many terrible reviews of this new restaurant. First impressions are extremely important. It did not seem they were ready for the public. Only time will tell.
Cheap prices bring cheap people, cheap people are not civilized, selfish ,no table manners and rude, hopefully after the discount is over,we will get some regular people in there
I went there for dinner couple of days ago. Food and service quality were bad. Refilling food takes a long time and food selection were limited. Don’t recommend this place.
Lot of problems with this new buffet, refill too slow, people are selfish,as soon as refill arrives, they scoop the whole tray up,when small tables fill up,they ask you to share the big tables, they better works on these issues, otherwise people are not going to return
Was it easy to get a table? I saw some reviews saying it was hard to even though there were empty seats and you can't make a reservation online. I'm going to Japan next month
Unlike some of the other Themed Cafes like Kirby, Pokemon etc no reservation was needed for this one. Sanrio Cafe has been around for years. My advice is to go early for all themed Cafes since items become sold out as the day goes on.
Desserts at these themed Cafes taste great. Desserts in Japan in general are fantastic. Why we all gain weight even if we're walking 10 to 15 km per day!
Hmmm I didn't even notice this but there were very few samples. I only remember trying something around the bakery fruits area. Swarm of people around trying to get a freebie.
Too much greed on the organizers asking exorbitant prices for each stall. In return, the vendor had to raise their prices to crazy levels, which will push away people from returning next year. Never going back.
Missed it this year due to all the rain. I hope these vendors made money someone told me to rent a table for 2 days is 7000.00 ouch last year it was 4000.00 wow landlords lower the price these people need to make money and educate others in the amazing culture and food?
I wouldn’t say it’s a rip-off. We have an option to go to Taste of Manila or not. The Filipino street vendors in Taste of Manila has to pay for their location (pwesto), and it’s not cheap. The vendors has to at least make some money. And as what the other comment said that “tulong na rin natin ito sa mga kababayan natin na Pilipino”.
