Solo en países en pobres arruinamos esas herramientas por comprar mimeógrafos, tales que no sirven y sistemas offset que vinieron (vinieron) echos chatarra.
Yo compre una grafopress es una gpe y no la e podido hechar a volar por varios pess y tengo el manual completo de la maquina pero dicen k es el mismo que hizo la heydelberg pero se fue a checolovakia va hay me dices y dime donde estas yo en la ciudad de mexico. Saludos
Takes me back to the 1970's when I ran these, In the UK they were known as Heidelberg Platens. I worked with a chap who had a scar on his forehead where the windmill had caught him at high speed.. - I'd love to have a play on one, just for old times sake.
Can anyone help please. i changed the steel plate on the head of the tiegel now the presure on the bottom is waay too much anth the preasure on the top is way too little. the plate is the same as the old one. Whats wrong? :(
Tell Carrie if she uses that funny little roller up on the tippy top when she dabbles ink on ( Spreader Roller )... She'll know if the rest of the rollers are set correctly by watching the ink up while she sips her god dam coffee .
At 2:07, Could you please explain how the polymer plate sticks to the surface? I'm very new to Letterpress and I don't think I understood how it sticks to it? Thank you.
I believe you need the adhesive. If you order the plate from them the adhesive comes already attached. I just ordered a blank plate to try my hand at making my own and I ordered an adhesive sheet (as recommended) to go with it. I am new to letterpress also. Take a look at their website where it describes the various plates you can order. There is useful information there.
The sense ? It's a roundabout way of saying ... we'll run it anyway we want . So.... take it or leave it. Jezze . People are such a pain in the ass sometimes.
I've been in printing for 90% of my working (40) years and have recently convinced my shop owners to set up the H. Windmill that's been in storage for several years. Cleaning, oil & greasing is being completed and some minor repairs are being done. I am reluctant to get the power to it until they find (or buy) manuals (operation and/or parts) to use as reference. They also have (2) H. Cylinder presses I currently run (without manuals also). All of these 3 machines are dedicated to Die-cutting.... not inking up to print. I do not like running these machines without manuals and have not had much luck locating any. It's been a long time since I've run a Windmill and do not want to cause any damage. These youtube videos are helpful but are no substitute for a manual. Any source suggestions out there? Heidelberg is a big "no help" on this.
Then you get stickers to kiss cut and it takes all day because they were printed digital and the stock is wavy as fuck an nothing you do helps it run...then you walk in the next day and it runs perfect.
