Although there's no live link to the supplier of this kit, I found it quickly via a Google search. As of June 2024, the kit costs $550. It may work wonderfully, but there are MANY alternative DIY targets on RU-vid for under $50.
Thank you for sharing the video sir. I do have a two questions 1. What is the inside material made of. 2. Can the inside material be replaced once it wares out ?
Hello, thank you for your interest. The target is made from a foam, we designed ourselves, called DynaFOAM. It is a 12 pound density, compressed and bonded from different materials. This target is not designed to be repaired, however it will give you many hours of shooting pleasure.
Hi Derek, Thank you for your interest in our products. Our website is www.archerytargets.com or you can call the factory direct at 812 937 7185 Thank you!!
Hello, we have changed to a new foam, which is better, and it comes with the compressor. www.archerytargets.com/range-beast-complete-kit-boyb48-using-all-new-mdl-dynafoam
I've ordered several targets from you. I have the Speed demon and BowHunter Deadshot. How well does the foam walls hold up? I know the the internals filled with cloth work great but if I am drilling the center of say the 122cm face how long until the foam will have a giant hole? Is this something related to the warranty? I am considering to purchase one right now.
The foam will take alot of shootng, the inner material does all of the stopping, while the foam holds the arrows straight. The CompCube series has a three year warranty against pass throughs, even after the foam is worn, it will still stop arrows,
Almost dropped $100 on a BLOCK foam target and the sales guy pointed me in the direction of the Beast Predator ($49). Saved me $50 and since these things aren't constructed out of injected molded foam - they last a lot longer with broadheads. Great targets. And NO. I don't work for the company. Just a guy who believes in supporting a great product. American-Made in Indiana. Another added plus.
Sorry for the delay in answering, my Computer went down, I would not recommend this for Crossbows, once you get over 350 FPS the bolts are really hard to remove.
We no longer offer this target system, we have replaced it with a less expensive, but better range target system, with a layered material. Here is a link to the target, for pricing to Bolivia, please email our sales dept Sales@archerytargets.com www.archerytargets.com/range-beast-complete-kit-boyb48-using-all-new-mdl-dynafoam
Not very well, A bolt at that speed would be storing 450 Foot Pounds of Kinetic Energy....Any foam target that would stop it, would never let you have the bolt back...lol.
@@blakebrowder5184 The carpeting is really hard on arrows, and very hard to remove arrows from. We have recently began using a new foam called DynaFoam, which works really well, it is a higher density, and stiffer, will not melt to the arrow shaft. Can still be tight with high power crossbow to pull bolts, but with some arrow lube it is not bad. Call Mike at 888 233 1976 THanks!
We have not gotten production up yet, they will be available on our website June 1st, and at dealers nation wide. www.archerytargets.com Thank you very much for your interest.
I have a few questions about this target. 1. What are the dimensions of it? 2. Can the deer face be replaced with a hog target face for practice as the deer where I live are small, so I prefer to shoot the tougher hogs. 3. Is there an actual catalog to see all of your targets with the specs instead of having to click through all of the different ones to see them? Is the range beast complete kit-BOYB48 available yet?
Hi Scott, The Bowhunter RPM Extreme is 34"x34" by 20" thick. The new RPM has been upgraded to use an additional bag built into the back of it, for extreme target practice. We can easily change the deer to a hog for you, we do have a catalog, I will be happy to email one to you. The Range Beast Kit is now available. Feel free to call the factory toll free at 888 233 1976. Ask for Mile Wulf, give him your email address and I will send a digital version of our catalogs. Thank you!
All of the materials come with it. To figure the cost of a target, you must figure the cost per shot. There is no target available that will have a lower cost per shot than elastifoam, which if you want to build your own compressor is 379, not to mention we run specials on it often, call 888 233 1976 for specials. We also have now introduced the Range Beast with Dynafoam. at 370 delivered this kit cannot be beat.
how do you repack the strike 500? and what do you repack it with? I finally got to sight in my xbow, at 20y the arrows stop 2 and 3 inches from the fletchings and on the 5th shot in the outer yellow ring (in different spots as im sighting it in) it went half way up the fletchings and of course destroyed them. im shooting the centerpoint sniper 370 with 442g piledriver arrows which includes the 100g points. According to the online reviews its about 320-330 fps and 360fps with the stock 370g arrows of questionable quality. the target you sent me as is does not seem to be rated for the acclaimed 500fps
Not this target, but we have an inexpensive broadhead target that works fine up to 400 FPS, and probably a good bit more, with good arrow removal, you have to unscrew the broadhead from the arrow before pulling the arrow out. @@archerace7 just received mine in the mail today and will test it later. but mine didn't come with a handle. also there is a space between the mesh and the inner bit of the target, it did not look like that on the video but maybe thats just a trick of the camera. may i ask what that space is for?
@@carls.6746 I apologize for the lack of handles, They should have been on it, I will send you something to make up for it. The space is to keep the arrows straight, with compression targets, when the material is tightly packed arrows will hit and sag, and it is possible to hit one arrow with another, and damage it. the screen that is about 3 or 4 inches in front of the poly stopping area keeps the arrows straight at all times.
Bought this block in april of this year using a compound bow with a 65lb draw using field points only, the glue from the never wear mesh has already broke apart and the inners are all pulled apart.. the rest of the target is holding up well. Personally i would not recommend this target.
This video is pretty old, but we still make the target, the Cat# is HC250, it was and still is the only true hybrid target, combining both the attributes of a foam target and a bag target into one. That being said, the cost of shipping has increased dramatically since this video was made and the cost has increased, we now make a less expensive model, under the CompCUBE series, that works as well with a full 3 year warranty. check it out at www . archerytargets . com
