This is interesting but sad at the same time. I heard George say how and why he got started on cocaine in a interview but he never mentioned this. Evidently one time with coke got him hooked pretty bad. In the end though he had no choice but to clean his act up.
I saw this cat get off an airplane in Nashville in 82' when I was 12. He walked into the terminal looking rough and had on a big black leather jacket that said 'PAYCHECK' on the back in big white leather letters....in case you didn't know who he was.
