Sounding, and looking good Chris! Happy New year! Hope things settle down for ya & for damned sure those bureaucrats at the dis. board get it together! Have you gotten any of those decoders for cars yet?

I never been to the Dickson club, I wasn't even aware there was one. I've seen the videos and photos of the nolensville layout it's set in an era and part of the country I'm just not all that interested in. I've been a member of the Tennessee central the last few years, but I've let it expire this year, and I'm not planning on renewing it. Thank you fir the compliments on m layout, it's a work in progress. I've got a long way to go.
oh ok...i live about an hour west of nashville near the tenn river and i am a member of dickson model railroad club in dickson,tn...have u ever visited us b4? i have been to tn central and also to the 5000 sq.ft layout at nolansville...
deryk, I did customize the unit. I painted, detailed per protoytpe photos. i changed out the motor, driveshafts, and worm gears with new ones from an athearn ready to run ac4400/c44-9w to improve running. I added the dcc adapter board, and hooked all the lights to the board. i also have the 777, and 767 units also.
