A farmer that I worked for back in the late70s early 80s we tried both and if you leave a few stocks here and there it seems to help slow wind and rain erosion please kept snow from blowing as much.
Aren't you going a little too fast chisel plowing?? Unless you're not going deep down. 3 lo on my 1066 pulling a 7 shank chisel. It stalls as I drop it all the way deep. It does best 2 lo.
I enjoy seeing the classic 2 wheel tractors work. And with duals. Growing up we always had 2 wheel drive tractors. Today I have three 2 wheel drive tractors a 539 IMT 39hp. 5320 John Deere 64hp and a 3070 Massey Ferguson 90hp.

Shiny chrome pipe on a tractor that has never been washed or waxed. Have tractors older than that that are still in showroom condition, with over 10,000 hours. Wash then when you are done, put them away. Respect the investment.

Nice video! Great team of equipment there to bale with. I have learned over the years to stop after the first 30-40 bales and stack some up front higher than the gate so it acts as a better stop for those bales that roll back down. Thought that might help.
Good looking feed. By any chance was it oats and cotton seed meal or am I totally off?? That used to be our goto, high energy cold weather supplement so just wondering.
@@whiskeybuilder6335 mold board plows are the most idiotic tillage equipment ever created and why people quit using them in the 90s. At least everyone who takes farming seriously does. Not all the stalks should be knocked over and not all of the stalks should be buried. That's poor soil management and a recipe for massive amounts of soil erosion caused by wind and precipitation.
