I recognized that beautiful beast behind you. I just picked up a extremely well cared T2000 with a C-12 and 10 speed manual. It looks brand new inside , the company I bought it from only used it to move grapes from their vineyard to the processing plant and the sleeper was not even used. Still like new. Ill be looking for a carrier to hook up with to run under their authority soon. Depends on what happens October of 2025. If we all go to just DOT numbers or not
These people don’t even know what they talking about. They just want to get owner operators to come to their company And take all our money away, I had two minor log violations and they charge me $1000. That’s insane they should be sued. I will not recommend them.
Voyager's pay program is simple to understand. The trailer maintenance program is one of the best deals in the business. It makes it easy to know what you will make at the end of the week. They don't do the hidden fees and charges for everything under the sun. They keep it simple and clean so that the driver knows what to expect. If you are willing to run, you will make money. You get what you put into it. This is a good place for any owner operator!
Hi! I created a solution for owner-operators and carriers to better manage expenses and fleet finances. I think it could be a game changer for you! Let’s talk about a possible collaboration. Your content is fantastic, keep it going!
If they there dismissed they should not be on your record. If it is not on your record, it don't exist. Just remember when you get your CDL any warning or dot violation without a ticket can land on your PSP record. Keep it clean.
So your unpaid for truck breaks down, now you have to pay to get it fixed and make the payment for the month. If your truck isnt reliable, its time to look for another one. If it is, pay it off and bank the money and hope it keeps going. If its going to break down and cost ya a lot of money ,the truck doesnt care if its paid off or not.
Thank you for a great question. There are no other fees associated with trailer, or trailer rental. We like to keep it clean and transparent. Trucking is full of surprises already, no one needs more.
Voyager will cover all maintenance, wear, and mechanical breakdowns. Tire blows, covered, tire worn out and reported, covered, need new brakes covered, leaking seals, covered, mechanical break down, covered... The only time it will not be covered is if it is driver-caused damage, like a ripped (against the curb) tire sidewall or a driver hitting something, as well as unreported wear (just like the example we use in the video where wires are showing on tires).
You got lucky. I got mine from them in April so 5 months ago and it’s been in the shop 5 times. They also lie and say they don’t buy trucks that have been in accidents but turns out this one was. I asked if they had any history on the truck and of course I was told no so the first time I took it into the shop for repair. I was able to have them at the shop give me a history on the truck and it was five pages long with all the damage and parts that have been replaced over the years. So I pretty much ended up with a lemon and there’s nothing I can do about it. Be careful with Lone Mountain they are shady just like everyone else.
Hey guys I’ve developed software for owner-operators and carriers that helps manage expenses and track fleet finances. I think you’d find it valuable. Let’s connect and discuss a potential collaboration! Thanks and keep creating amazing content!
At the end of the day it is a skill of the driver, but you are 100% correct, it is much, much easier to maneuver tight spots with Volvo or Cascadia than any of the classic trucks.
I don't know I like the company driver if the industry finally goes belly up I just walk away with my money , without wrecked credit, broken truck, etc
Great choice. There are plenty of very successful drivers who don't want to deal with all the extra headaches. Being an Owner-Operator is not for everyone. It requires a lot more time and work for success, and just like any business, it has risks. There is the risk of losing money, wrecked credit, and a broken truck, as well as the risk of building a very successful trucking company with 500 trucks.
