Learning curve: Bachata is easier. But I learned Salsa, and it’s more familiar movement-wise. But Bachata seems more forgiving when messing up. And I feel like I connect with Bachata music more in general
Really fun footwork! Personally, when teaching, I prefer to break it down into parts so each section can be danced separately, rather than having a long block of instructions. This approach can make learning more enjoyable and easier to remember. Still, great job! :)
i’ve been wanting to get back into dancing bachata and this is the easiest way for me to do it. such a fun part of my day i look forward to🫶🏼thank youu🫶🏼
As a beginner in bachata I’ve been doing back leading too often. I’ve never done partner dancing really so I’m super grateful for these tips. thank you!
That’s all choreography, not usable in a party setting. I want to see yall go and dance with a random person to see if those techniques would even work. It would be amazing seeing yall teach basic to moderate bachata that a person could dance with anyone out at a club, or at a party with a random person. Can’t bring out those scripted moves with someone you’ve just met
Hi there, This is actually not choreography, this is us social dancing. When we filmed we didn't pre-plan or pre-choregraph anything, we just put on a song and danced just like we teach others to do. These moves are all leadable at social as long as you're not a beginner dancing with another beginner. A lot of these techniques are challenging but they are still leadable if you have good lead technique and good follow technique.
I am planning to visit Dominican Republic with the love of my life of 36 years. We have been practicing real hard this lovely dance. We want to fit in!🕺💃😉😆
I appreciate it, but its definitely the tone! Ive had a follower slap my hands because i didn't change my grip on the mardrid, also i had really stiff followers! I can feel the hate energy off them, intuition! But regardless I love to dance .
There are some other methods to hold hands when turning the lady such as as gun fingers(index and middle fingers) or Metallica fingers(middle and ringer fingers). What is your opinion about it?
Hi there, thanks for asking. The courses on Udemy are NOT the same. There are similar steps and concepts but the ones are Udemy were filmed maybe in 2016 and these ones are brand new and filmed with professional camera, microphones and in a real dance studio. Also there is a fraction of the content as our new website. Honestly, I would recommend purchasing from our website so you can get the updated versions :)
Thanks guys it’s been years since I danced bachata and I am trying to up my dance skills and my kids since they are adults and want to learn how to dance bachata.
My favourite is clearly modern bachata style, to dance and to see. A bit of dominican bachata is interesting too. I don't like sensual bachata (except one or two items occasionally), because what is important to me is the expression of the both partners and not only the man...
