Incredible talent. Only near the core notes of the song. It is kinda irritating. Like when a singer goofs with the national anthem. The song is great without improvised alterations.

I loved the original by S & G. Listened to it on the original LP & for years. Legend sings it better. I will never hear this song again without thinking about this version-and wanting to hear it instead. An amazing performance ❤
