Great video, thanks. I wanted to know what I was getting into with this. Can I ask, where did you get an occupancy sensor from? Was it out of another vehicle? Thank you 😁
The occupancy sensor was removed from the original cloth seat to the leather seat. The leather seats were from a MB Sports W202 which had no sensor. Under the front passenger seat a electrical connection can be seen going into the seat, this indicates your model of W202 is equipped with a occupancy sensor which works with the passenger air bag safety system.
@user-do-it-yourself-help thank you very much. I thought so. I need to find one for a customer who has a faulty one but even mercedes benz say that it is an obsolete part and they have no stock. I will be checking breakers yards I think.
I bought a Potterton Refilling Loop today to replace the leaking refilling loop on Potterton Powermax Heat Engine Condensing Boiler 85 litre. It has been leaking for years and I finally decided to do something about since I am tired of my boiler pressure falling. It is now back to normal at 1.5 pressure gauge as it should be. Thank you very much for sharing this video it was very helpful. I also used my hair dryer to quickly dry the areas where water spilled.
Well I'm sitting here, lower back in spasm after loading and unloading 12 concrete garage panels. How on earth are you moving those panels around so easily by hand? Superman? 😁. I've yet to pull down the side of my existing garage and widen it by 2 feet. And I'm def going to have to hire in help. I had no idea they were so hard to lift.
The rear seat back rest has 3 bolts securing it to the rear panel located by the seat belt buckles. Once they are removed lift the seat cushion up to unhook it from the top securing position located behind along the top edge of the cushion, one on each side, hence why you can't see how the cushion is secured to the back panel. Hope this help.
I assume the house is where the camera is....so you look out and all you see is a garage...and access to the road now looks restricted...of course I cannot see a birds eye view of the whole building plot...it all seems a bit strange to me....I would have understood a half size affair to one side....or even an open sided car Port...but...positioning a garage there...just seems odd Access to the rear of the garage is directly onto the road yet I see no sign of a wall or gate...just had me wondering
Thanks for your comment. What you assumed is very correct, you have a good eye. The reason is that first the access to have a rear car entrance is very restricted as its the end property and two to be able to drive a car into the garage I would need a entrance wider than the garage and third the garage end of the property is wide as the garage and much wider at the house end and fourth rain water running along the rear of the garage due to a slope towards my property would come into my property but now it goes to the road and the garage inside is bone dry ( this was the main reason for the step up base) and the fifth reason is i have a 3 car off road parking drive at the front of my property so no need for a car garage, having said that the only option I had was to remove 3 meters off the wall from the far end to enable a car to drive in easy but this was not a option I wanted. Again Thank you for your comment.
No sign of damp or water leaks, roof is water tight due to corrugated sheets. wall panels are water tight due to silicone sealant between the joints which is applied after installation. Where the wall panels meet the floor base is cemented on the inside and silicone sealed from the outside to prevent any rainwater coming in.
Panel fits inside of groove in the door frame on the opposite side of handle and does not need any fixings. The handle side of the frame has a lip on the outside which goes over the panel and is secured on the inside with metal fixings on the frame which go over the panel. The frame is secure enough not to be pulled out or pushed in
Agreed on this one. I encounter same problem with the vacum pump malfunction. I open the rear trunk using the mechanical on the key fob. No need to make an opening on the behind rear seat.
I used a quality silicone (waterproof) to seal between the boards and the floor from the outside. Inside I cemented a border all around the floor and boards. Hope that helps.
