EGR needs to define what they mean by slim line. When I ordered mine, there wasn’t a slim line option, and I don’t see a difference between the slim line and the regular in-channel that I just installed. Can you clarify?

Don’t think they make the slim line for the 2024 Sierra 1500. At least I didn’t find them on the EGR website.

I have experienced that rattle as well. Seems they have poor quality control. If you open it up and look at the center panel you will sell a small center screw or revite that needs to be repaired. That will stop the rattle.

Just got one and installed it. I like the lockable lid but it has a design flaw. The middle of the lid flex’s enough a thief can easily use a tool and pry the lid open. They really need 3 locks, one on each side as originally designed and a 3rd in the middle. I emailed them about adding a 3rd lock but they do not sell individual parts and they also said it would void my warranty. 🙄

Thanks great product I recommend it. I have an issue but not sure if it was from tapping (to use both cig lighter and Dometic ) or not. During day light driving (light are off) the voltage drops to 12.5v (reading via OBD) so Dometic disconnects even though as per the manual 12.3v. Possible drop at voltage due to tap, voltage drop due to distance from battery to lighter, or Dometic calibration is incorrect. Solution for now to drive the car with light on all times to keep on. I am thinking to use Fuse diode at the Cig lighter circuit to boost voltage (~0.5 volte) which should keep it on all times with out turning the light.

I found it much simpler to assemble each corner piece and then drop it down into the stake pocket to thread the bolt in. Then loosen the allen bolts and the stake pocket bolt to slip the rail on the rear first then the front and tighten it all down.
