Thank you for this Video. You actually showed most of the steps so that was GREAT.

Good video , 1 thing I’m not seeing anywhere is the actual drop bracket orientation for the carrier bearing. Some guys may snap those bolts off & have to remove the drop bracket & if it’s in a backwards orientation that will definitely cause problems since it’s angled.Great video though!! 👍🏻👍🏻

How big was the pole you used to press it in

Just a piece of pipe I had handy that fit over the end…I am guessing it was 1.25” x 3 ft long or so.

You never showed the clearance for the front of the bearing and drive shaft

I am not sure what you are referring to...I positioned the new bearing tight against the machined should like the OEM one. Once back under the truck, lined everything up and installed bolts loosely to ensure fit before tightening.

@@jeremykern9071 you said around the 10:00 mark that you needed to double check your clearances…how do you know what the “clearances” are supposed to be?

Wow thanks so much for your post. My 350 is a few years older, but looks identical to your engine. Going to make my job way easier than I anticipated!

Can you post a link to the puller that you used?

I used an OTC 1036 puller from Amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000O8243Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
