Personally I don't think its outright bad, solo bossing on my Lumi is very enjoyable and I don't think I'm doing bad compared to other non-op classes. Whether I think it'll be on par with meta classes in the future is gonna depend on the game's direction, If we get the same support nerf that kms is getting its an indirect buff to classes with bad burst but I'm not sure how much meaningful its gonna be, It seems to me that with the addition of limbo and xlotus we are heading in the right direction where burst is less meta so I hope we keep heading in that direction. The other thing to keep in mind is power creep, with each new hexa skill we get in the future eventually every class will be good enough for every boss. In conclusion the primary thing that Lumi lacks in is its burst, or more so condensed burst that does not fit in ror and benediction, that aside our dpm is pretty decent imo and it feels great to be able to dish out damage 80% of the time. if you enjoy the class you will be just fine and I hope that by the point you reach a state where party comps matter all of the points above will be irrelevant. @@pasteveryfate Can hold it down, since you only attack every 5 seconds it takes really long to reach attack cap, we do have to move every 50 seconds or so for janus dusk to keep procing tho
@@henrryma8460 Lumi is bad at culvert i agree but my gear is nowhere near perfect or done, on other classes with my gear and hexa you would probably see 40k at max on the really broken ones Anyway buff lumi
@@pablolucena4355 I don't understand what you mean by build, all of the skills are available to you if you are above 260, for this method you use morning star in dark mode to proc endless darkness, orb passive and janus dusk, you only need to be in dark mode and use morning star

Hey lumi pro. I have a question. I decided to keep aquatic letter eye accessory and condensed power crystal on my lumi as training gears but the starforce power on those items are only 8 and 10. Will I have problems one shotting mobs at higher level grandis maps? Do I need to change it to like a blackbean mark or sweetwater accessories for more starforce?
@@inspire1739 Hi, you shouldn't have any problem one shotting with reflection because of the new mastery, the extra stats from a 17 star sw/mark are only gonna make a difference if you barely one shot, but still your hexa is gonna help a lot more. If you are trying to get hybrid or double meso/drop lines definitely do it on an item that goes above 15 stars

@@inspire1739 Yeah you should be fine just by leveling hexa, I don't think its worth intentionally going for hybrid/double lines if you already have them, its the kind of thing that if you get it you get it.
@@jaybutnotreally I find myself only rubberbanding when I jump straight after using the skill or while using it midair, not sure about high ping since I use exitlag but yeah it sucks if it happens since its a big damage and mobility loss
@@staffmaster I have to use it at level 1 sadly, at level 2 or higher, I get really bad teleporting effects, like real bad. Sometime even stuck in lava and unable to up jump out of it. Lost over 100 HP because of that once.

Impressive stuff. Do you think luminous is an easy class to play? I mostly the brain dead warrior classes that flash jump and press one ability but I am looking to play a teleport class. I just need a fun one, which lumi seems like but my peanut sized brain can’t handle complex classes 😂
personally I don't think lumi is complex, maybe its easy for me to say because I've played it for so long tho idk. I think our burst is pretty simple, pop buffs, spam ender and baptism, the only micro managing we have is to charge equil and make sure to not waste it, pretty easy getting used to imo, aside from casting conduit and placing gate every once in a while we don't have to worry about other skills. The only thing I have in mind that is somehow difficult is timing freuds with burst and using origin optimally, with ror you can fuck up origin pretty often if you don't have gene or if you don't bind it before using origin, I got pushed out of my ror too many times to count before I liberated lol, its only an issue with ror tho. Needless to say farming is braindead.
@@Kaneki57Kennn Thats very far from true, what I heard people saying is that even if lumi could spam ender 100% of the time it would still be worse than most classes during burst. I also think thsose people are exaggerating, yes maybe our burst window still wouldnt be good but the dpm would go rockets especially when you take baptism into account, if you take everything equilibrium has to offer lumi would be hands down the best class in the game if that was the case.

Nice guide! What are your hopes for a rework? What do you want changed with the class, what would you like to stay the same. I just hope they dont change aesthetics or the whole equil stuff, I kinda like that about the class.
Thank you! and good question My hope is that we get improvements and that they wont make it worse than it already is now, leave that up to nexon lol. The things I would change would be its burst so it fits better with ROR and the current meta, one Lumi suggested to make Liberation orb more condensed and I like that idea, my own idea is making gate of light a burst skill, maybe a different form for bosses, like have it emit a huge burst of light on the boss kinda similar to Evan's elemental barrage, I think it would be a nice addition to our burst and a good change overall since in reboot most lumis don't even use gate for farming anymore lol. I definitely would like Lumi to stay the same in terms of the equilibrium system and skill aesthetics, maybe just improve on them but not change them completely, we already got improvements to equilibrium with the new mastery since it charges our equilibrium while bursting, I hope we get a similar one for light mode with the apocalypse mastery.

ay staff, ive been playing kaiser but have been showing my lumi some love as of recent. how do you think lumi compares to kaiser overall. i dont mind for honest biasm just down to hear your opinion. i appreciate the content
@@vondadon732 hi, I don't know a lot about kaiser but I do know its a dpm class so they have a thing in commom at least, kaiser training is also very good so this shouldn't be a deal breaker if it comes to switching. The only thing I'm biased about is that I just love lumi lol, if I would compare the two id say kaiser is more endgame proof because our burst suck for the current meta, I'd say play what you enjoy more, this is the advice I always give. I did a quick test, seems like its very hard to get janus to proc twice unless you wait out between casts instead of holding it down, (my meatball might be too strong now) I still get around 17-17.5k Another problem that I found is sometime the mobs on the bottom left would wander too far and dusk can't hit them.
