I'm Kristen, an ex-PhD student in the History of Medicine, who is choosing instead to focus on happiness, family, and storytelling. These days you can find me simming, hanging out with my baby Annie (who is in a lot of recent videos), and working on writing my novel. I'm far from a professional gamer, but I love to show up and cultivate a historical gaming community on RU-vid, Twitch, and our Discord. I grew up playing the Victorian sims without much of a community since I was pretty young, so community building is really important to me. These are safe spaces where all are welcome. We support BLM and LGBTQ+ rights. I would love to have all of you join our community and share your own historical creations! Thanks for your presence! I'm so glad you're here.
Your series made me realize that I would spend an unholy amount of money on a victorian/rengency version of the sims. Or just a whole simulation game with these tematics
YESSS a new episode!! I have my notifications turned on just for this series :) and i'm SO excited to see the Jung family next episode!!! They're my absolute favorite family~ thank you for doing this series!
It looks like that glass roof for the church needs an invisible floor under it to prevent snow and such. Oh my goodness, look at Annie's curls!! What a cutie!
OMG THIS HOUSE IS ... WOW. Raphael is a good looking heir. Dang. Good on ya, bud lol. You'll need those looks with that personality! hehe There is definitely something about the Prices that you cannot help but love! As always, wonderful episode!
first time on your channel and it destroyed me to hear "this is where I keep a bunch of my random stuff, like my bubonic rats" so i might need to check out your historical videos lmao
I can look into it! Dropbox gets mad at me for just uploading my downloads folder alone but I occasionally do link that in the discord when there's enough interest.
My 15 year old daughter had my granddaughter last year and it was traumatic birth. The baby stayed in the NICU for a month. My grand is a year old and has severe HIE. Grand was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy about 2 weeks ago. We haven’t been able to get the seizures under control:
Thank you for this great episode! Raphael reminds me of those romantic authors and poets (like Lord Byron for example). Hopefully he finds some fulfillment in his life at some point. I was a bit sad to see Julian and Marion age up into elders. It feels like they got married yesterday. I am glad to see Ebba find a good life for herself after she got expelled from finishing school. Marrying into the Price family (even to a younger son) will definitely improve her circumstances and might even help her in her political aspirations.
Well Raphael is such a catch...at least his future wife will have a beautiful house to live in! I kind of hope he has some consequences and an illegitimate child...drama is best with consequences, isn't it?! I vote for a rose garden wedding, or maybe a wedding under the wisteria - but that might be rough on the angles. Oh and I am super interested to hear what you find out about police in the Victorian period and how you integrate that into the game. And over fifty families - I love that this hood has come so far and that you now have this group of upper and upper middle class teenagers spending time together even (or maybe especially!) if they're doing not very proper things! Oh Ebba (I don't know how to spell her name), I hope you don't come to regret this with Grant...
Oooooo so good! Raphael is a playboy hehe I think he should end up with one of the servants and do a runaway especially when his reputation gets out of hand
I’m felt nostalgic for the sims 2 during Easter and watched the whole new witby series. I’m now currently trying the challenge out for the sims 3 - I even have the first baby born in town as I currently type this! Also had my first house fire lol 😂
your series is one of the only ones i can rewatch over and over without getting bored! And they make me want to start my own Victorian challenge but then i look at all the cc and have flashbacks to every time I've tried to keep a sims 2 farm alive and decide to live vicariously through this series instead 😂
I love this series yayyy I was so happy to see a new episode. The world you’ve created is so lush and vivid it’s wonderful to see the sims stories play out :)
Thank you for this episode. I love that Fei finally got her happy ending. Her children are absolutely gorgeous! The Jungs really managed to clean up their act in their quest for respectability. Let's hope that the next generation don't screw it up! I was so sad to see Peter go. He wasn't the best in any way, but it is always sad to see a sim go
Uhhh as far as college defaults go, best there is at the moment is the set of Fallout style ones which maybe could work with some nice clean recolors. It's not very Victorian, but it's... better lol Excited to see social progress coming to New Whitby! My historical hood is in a time period that's relatively unknown re: that stuff, so I'm taking full advantage to just make it how I want it to be haha
Very nice episode ! i think Levi should stay pennyless and maybe be like a dom juan, or the lady man of the campus ? Searching to go higher in society by making friends with rich sims ? I don't know if it's realistic 😅 But I agree, he is a gorgeous sims !
John not coming home for Christmas is the realest shit from a college student LOL, yes John enjoy the comforts of solitude and a break from your stressful mom
