It's not fair. People come to America and we don't charge based on the country they're from. It's actually a form of price discrimination you idiots! Why would you support that? That's like white people charging more to spanish people just because they're in the USA
I am suntaning here in my city in southern Europe. It's been 35C-40C for days now. No rainy season here. We get a lot of rain in the spring time and autumn and during the winter a. k. a. normal, beautiful seasons here. Summer time there's almost no rain here. Barely any clouds. You can't function properly in this climate. Only tourism is possible and working in shopping malls with AC. There's ACs everywhere. Without them life ain't possible here during the summer. You get soooo sleepy here, cause of the heat, it's crazy.
@@Just_another_Euro_dude Absolutely. I'm in the UK and it's only around 30C which doesn't seem as bad but people don't realise that there is no AC anywhere in homes and the homes are built with a lot of insulation so in these waves of heat it feels like I'm in an oven because the heat isn't escaping, the air is so heavy and humid.
I'm a 30-year-old American living in Tokyo, I'm unemployed and often spend most of my days alone out of shame. Somehow, I saw this video in my feed and from the title I expected it to be about loneliness, so I clicked it expecting to fuel my depressed state, but I was surprised that it was just silly video on your happy little life. Oh my life is yin and yang happy and troubled. You know I spent my first decade on RU-vid airing extreme pain, see LilaSakura "Soul Killer" (spoken word videos). My mom was a violent schizophrenic and four suicides in the family and mom wants euthanasia to be legalized so she can get it. But let me tell you reading spiritual books like "The Power of Now" by Tolle or "I Am That " by Nisargadatta Maharaj helped. Also I like manifesting/Law of Attraction stuff and it helped me get out of bad decades of living below the poverty line and being unmarried all the way to my mid-40s and so on BUT there's something to calming the mind and manifesting, my life is happier. BUT I can be vulnerable to dark and scary waves so I recently got more interested in Zen-like meditation and following the breath and going all out with manifesting. You can too. There's a beauty in dark moods and suffering, something a lot of art and spiritual growth and transformation can hatch out of it and we find our own private slice of heaven.
I think its pretty good, I only lived there for a couple of weeks but I know a lot of expats who live there now. I live a couple hours away, near Mount Fuji. Only thing I don't like about Tokyo is the Summer can be outrageously hot and humid! I feel faint and went to the ER once! And to really live the life I want needs money, money! In the Fuji area I can have a nice enough life on modest money BUT it'd be hard if I didn't have a hubby or friend who was there to help me navigate City Hall and renewing the visa. My plan is to one day move to Tokyo though, I think it has a lot going for it! I just don't want to be in the middle of the craziness of Shinjuku or Shibuya unless its just to visit in the cooler months. A lot of people like Yokohama too (greater Tokyo), there's a big expat population and American military base. But for me Tokyo is calling too! Good luck, see you in Tokyo! Come visit at least, stay awhile. Its nice you can stay in capsule hotels/sharehouses or those APA hotels and various foods like I eat that are tasty and not too expensive. They prolly hae more chemicals then I care for though.
Am I going to have to start pulling out my zairyuu card every time I go somewhere to prove I'm not a foreign tourist now? I might as well get a sign to hang around my neck that says I live here.
Yeah I told my hubby what about the expats who are integrated.I guess whipping out the ziaryuu card is the fastest way to get the local rate. Shouganai ne :D
One of my guilty pleasures is scrolling endlessly on delivery apps and seeing all the yummy things I can get! Living in Japan would destroy my piggy bank😂
Lol how lovely! In the USA it could coat me $30 bucks all the fees for one person. But in Japan it can cost maybe $10 (fastfood) -$20 (casual) with all the fees.

Wow I thought Tully's was a Japanese chain! I just saw in Google it originated in Washington! It was! Same with Denny's, in the US Denny's in upstate NY was meh but in Japan it's surprisingly good! But the Dominoes and McD in Japan are as meh as they were in upstate NY. Mos Burger and Pizza-La are where its at in Japan, at least in the foothills of Mount Fuji!
Yes, this was during golden week, and the crowds weren’t too bad. But Northern Japan is kind of chilly and early May, whereas Tokyo was really hot during the midday. But the area around Fuji is wonderful in early May.
@@Erilicious Thank you for sharing your experience. Good to know that it’s not too crowded during Golden Week in Sapporo as I’ve read comments that it can be too crowded anywhere in Japan during Golden Week.
You had to fight for that donut out of Toshi's hand hahah. It sucks when you can't find a good American equivalent of a food in Japan. Maybe Krispy Kreme? Their glazed ones are always good!
I would definitely say donut country, and Tennessee has to be the best donut I’ve ever eaten. Krispy Kreme didn’t quite do it for me. And I used to work at Dunkin’ Donuts and they were so so, except for the donuts I custom made. I would say, Japan’s Mister Donut is innovative but not my most favorite donut 🍩❤️
Aww man, honestly nothing beats a good old American donut! I assume they don't have apple fritters and the like over there. Those are my favorite. Come on Japan! @@Erilicious
@@Kitty-lf5jp lol not quite apple fritters but I kid you not, once in a blue moon a convenience store in Japan called Daily Yamazaki has something similar and absolute heaven! The outside is coated in a red syrup and inside has delightful apples with creamy warm custard.
