Great Video. I am just a beginner. Please help me how to get back the Toolbar across the top of the ChimeraX window that contains icons for performing actions with a single click, including home, molecular display, nucleotide, graphics, etc.
Very explicit video. Thank you. I tried to download the MGLtools (mgltools_i86Darwin9_1.5.6.dmg (GUI installer 65Mb)) for my Mac along with XQuartz 2.7.11. I am running the macOS Big Sur (v. 11.7.7). I got the message that AutoDockTools needs to be updated. I would appreciate your assistance to identify the correct package I need to install in my computer.
I believe I keep getting an error: C:\Users\Public\Desktop\movie1.mp4: Permission denied. is there some sort of computer setting I need to change to allow mp4 downloads from chimeraX?
Looks like you are on windows. You can give your folder permission by Right-click the file or folder, and then click "Properties". Click the Security tab. Under Group or user names, click your name to see the permissions you have. Click Edit, click your name, select the check boxes for the permissions that you must have, and then click OK. PS. Make sure you are the admin of your system.
Hello, I am watching your RU-vid well. When using the ball stick mode of the chimerax program Can you adjust the thickness of the cylinder and the size of the sphere?
I installed all correctly, however, the MGLtool does not work on my MAC as it says it needs update. Can someone help me? I cannot create virtual machine.
Thank you for the nice tutorial series! I am wondering if there is any command to remove the black border at the top and bottom of the videos recorded in chimeraX? Thanks again!
