Mombi Yuleman is considered an Unusual Aural Phenomenon. Listen and you'll discover music inspired by stories of monsters, mysteries, and legends... Here you will find music that spans a wide range of sounds. Having started out with dark ambient and soundtrack work, the sounds have progressed into various subcategories of psychedelic trance. Twilight, Dark and Progressive. All here to haunt and inspire.
@@MombiYuleman Totally! It's become a regular thing where I'm playing your Psytrance stuff at work on warmer sunny days. It really fits the mood, and it's plenty fast, so perfect for a delivery package person, haha.
EXCELLENT work, Yuleman! Now you're among my top Dark Music Channels! Especially about that xamanic album of yours, I think it is your masterpiece! Congrats! *__*
Brilliant piece of music. Glad to have discovered this. I play DnD and I'm definitely using this in my next session as background/ambient music. It gives off the perfect vibe. 😁👍 Keep making music; you've got a knack for it. More will come, just don't give up.
Another great episode full of interesting stuff. Btw it's funny that in countries like the USA and Canada they drink egg nog on Christmas and in Germany we drink mulled wine.
Haha, nice one, Mombi, Thanks for the review, brother! You do the tongue twisters better than me too. I just get mad, yell, "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!" and then my wife runs upstairs and yells, "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON UP HERE!"
very nice episode, is that eggnog available everywhere or just local to NC? By the way, I went to college in Boiling Springs, which is around 50 miles from Charlotte, graduated in 1990 so I'm showing my age with this comment.
Oh! That's cool. That's about 3 hours from here. I think that egg nog is exclusive to this neck of the woods. I just havent had anything quite as good as this one. Positively love egg nog.
You know, I thought you made a comment on this video! I got a notification saying you had made a comment and then when I went to read it, it wasn't there. So, I assumed you had decided to delete it yourself before I could even read it. Apparently that's not the case! Very weird... please feel free to comment what you had said. RU-vid seems to have been glitchy or something. 👽
I see on my RU-vid app in the notifications that you post a comment saying "So much to talk about..." but it's not showing up here! Weird. I think this is something on RU-vid's part because I don't have anything to set comments to be filtered. I will keep looking into the issue... im so sorry. I really wanted to see what you had to say! I'll keep you posted if I can get it fixed.
@@MombiYuleman It's kinda strange but i had this problem too with my other channels. Never been abled to solve it though. It must be something about the comment that is causing this "glitch" since other comments work just fine. But since the comments aren't even in the spam folder it still remains a mystery.
@@MombiYuleman Reading my last comment made me think of something. Maybe youtube wanted to put the comment into the spam folder and failed to do so. So you can try to allow all comments and deactivate the setting that you want to review potentially inappropriate comments first. Till this point we still have no clue what could cause a comment to be signed as "potentially inappropriate". After that i can try to re-post it for the 3rd an hopefully last time :-)
@@mallumomusic4270 guess what? I downloaded the RU-vid Studio app and found that the comments were there waiting for approval. On the desktop version I haven't found any indicator of approval being needed for any comments. Crazy! Anyways, looks like I'll be using the Studio app from here on out. I ended up approving both comments!
So much to talk about. First of all i hope Maria is doing well. Every time somebody is coughing now a days you are getting worried that it might be Covid. I know that its not that dangerous for most people so i hope that she is doing fine. When it comes to the art you it's amazing that even something as beautiful and normal like a flower can become a very disturbing thing just by the way it looks and by the story behind it. That's strong. About that idea that we all know as kids what we are suppose to be and that we just forget it because something went wrong, that is tricky. Life doesn't care about dreams it's about survival. We just have to find a way to survive and make that as pleasurable as possible. Thinking about the things that we have like art, technology, medicine, entertainment and such we are doing great. Better then sleeping in a cave and going hunting. But the problem is still that our society wouldn't work if everybody would only pursue their dreams and do only the things they want to do. I don't think that any kid is dreaming about working in a factory or cleaning public places or being a plumber or a construction worker. So we need people that do things they don't want to do i guess. But if the only goal of working is to make enough money and to gain profit, than this is also not going to work cause there are more important things than money. Right now we are producing way more of almost everything then we can even possibly consume. So we can afford it to have more people living their dreams and doing the things they want to do. Right know automation is still a problem cause people need jobs to make money cause they have to use that money to buy the things they need. But maybe one day that is going to change. I'm just drifting off. One could talk hours about that. But this isn't about the problems in the world but about the people and and their problems and theirs art. But this just shows you how thought provoking those conversations can be. Sorry i couldn't join the chat or the group cause i'm not on facebook.
Funny and interesting. It's nice to see somebody who doesn't take himself too serious. After all we are all just humans and nobody is perfect. Some people (and artists) are just so full of them selfs. And to a certain degree i think you are also doing this for yourself to become more comfortable in front of the camera and to be less nervous about it.
Yeah, I can only take myself but so serious. It's nice to do these videos so people can see the person underneath. It takes me many many times to get it right (I'm not much of a talker, I prefer to speak through music) but I'm getting better and having more fun. Thanks for the comment! 👽
Haha! That whole day just wasn't working out for me to film anything. The very next morning I was able to film the episode with way less effort. Go figure. I'm still getting used to these things! 😆
I'm using the Roland sp404 to do some sampling but it is annoying that you can't add more than one effect to a sample without re-recording (resampling) it. I'm getting the feeling that the sp404 is only good for drums and beats but not for dark ambient. Are you using a sampler too or are you doing all your sampling via software?
I actually don't know much about the SP404. Last analog synth I had was a JP8000. I primarily work in the box with VSTs and such. Best of luck on creating music! You don't need a whole bunch of stuff to create some interesting textures and layers and whatnot. Depends on the sound you are going for. 👽
I am listening while working with good headset and I find this excellent dark ambient. Have to admit that it gives me inspiration for my own dark ambient channels. Great job, keep it up!
A very well done and interesting video! Massive congrats on the soundtrack gig too! I'll check out the soundtrack out tomorrow night, but just the music in the background here sounded really promising! Looking forward to it.
Thanks man! I appreciate your encouragement on getting back to making videos again. I have a feeling I'm going to be churning them out at a faster rate since I'm figuring out the best methods of speaking in front of the camera. . 👽
It is interesting that many times the "dark" people are more positive than many of the "normal" ones. To me being "dark" has allot to do with having depth and not being shallow. For many people darkness is peace and comfort. Also was this supposed to be a series or was it really just this one video?
